● Feedback Collection: After the first AI-enhanced lesson, I will collect feedback
from both teachers and students about their experiences. This feedback will be
used to refine the integration process and adapt lessons as needed. I have

Expected Outcomes: As a student intern, I look forward to the testing phase as
an opportunity to actively engage with AI tools and students. By providing students
with early exposure to AI tools and actively participating in the process, I aim to
contribute to the demonstration of the potential advantages of AI integration in
language education.
These initial lessons will be instrumental in preparing me for a future as an
educator, while also fostering a dynamic and innovative learning environment for
the students.
And now the task for 5 classes using the grammarly AI will be outlined
below.
Assignment: Topic “Interesting information about animals”
Objective: Write sentences about some interesting facts or information
students found from Chat GPT.Then, use the Grammarly tool to check and
improve your text.
Steps:
1. Choose the topic "Interesting information about animals” for your sentences.
2. Write some sentences describing some interesting information of the animal you
have chosen. Use Chat GPT to get some facts about it.
3. After finishing the writing, use the Grammarly tool to check your text for
grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure errors (table-3). Also, pay attention
to Grammarly's recommendations for improving the style and language of your
text.
4. Make necessary corrections and enhancements to your essay based on
Grammarly's suggestions(table-3).
5. After editing, reread your sentences and ensure it is grammatically correct and
understandable for other listeners.
Tip: Your sentences can include descriptions of the continent, visuality,
food of the current animal. Share what you have found captivating about the
animal.
This assignment will help students develop their writing skills and creative
thinking, as well as use the Grammarly tool for self-checking and improving their
texts.

We conducted lessons with 5,7 and 8 grade students to compare students’
performances during the lessons of using AI tools in order to improve their English
skills before, and go further with the use of AI out of the classroom.
To clearly see the final results we prepared 2 surveys, one is about integration
of Chat GPT, second is about different AI tools that were used during the lesson.
Also, we asked students to write down their overall experience in the learning process
with AI.
● Survey about Chat GPT: This survey had 7 questions, and 2 of them
are open-ended. Above a half students marked their experience with the Chat GPT
tool as excellent and they found it as a useful tool. [pie chart-4] We hoped to improve
all 4 skills through Chat GPT, and we can see the results that it has mostly worked
well in speaking and writing skills (pie chart-5). The reason is based on the tasks such
as making a dialogue and making up sentences, that help students to feel more
confident in speaking (pie chart-6). The results of this survey clearly shows that
students enjoyed the lessons with the Chat GPT tool and they feel more self-assured
in speaking (figure-21).

In the course of this study, an extensive research effort was undertaken on the
topic of "Integration of artificial intelligence (AI) elements into foreign language
teaching for academic purposes”. The research aimed to explore the potential and
prospects of applying artificial intelligence in the educational sector, as well as to
assess the effectiveness and impact of AI on students' language proficiency and their
interest in learning English.
The following key findings emerged from the study:
The integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process contributes
to the improvement of education quality and effectiveness. The use of AI
technologies such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and DeepL enables the creation of a
more interactive and personalized learning environment.
Students participating in lessons that utilize AI show greater interest in the
learning process and increased engagement during classes. This leads to deeper and
more productive learning experiences.
Data analysis reveals that AI significantly enhances students' language
proficiency. The knowledge gain ranged from 8% to 12%, indicating substantial
progress in language skills among students.
The implementation of AI in education requires teacher training, the
development of educational materials, and access to relevant technologies.
Future research and developments in the field of AI in education could include
the creation of more advanced and adaptive AI systems, the integration of modern
technologies, and the conduct of broader studies in various educational contexts.
Overall, the results of this study confirm the potential of artificial intelligence
for enhancing education and enriching the learning environment. The integration of
AI into language education can lead to improved language proficiency and increased
interest among students, making this technology a significant tool for the future of
education in Kazakhstan and worldwide.
Based on the research findings, the following practical recommendations are
provided for teachers and educational institutions:
Preparation and training of teachers in the use of AI in education, including
training on relevant software and technologies.
Development of educational materials and courses tailored for use with AI
systems to ensure more effective and interactive learning.
Establishment of accessible and modern educational environments, including
access to high-quality AI resources and programs.
Conducting additional research and data analysis to gain a deeper
understanding of the impact of AI on the educational process and the development of
more effective methods for implementing this technology.
In conclusion, this research demonstrates that the integration of artificial
intelligence into language education holds significant potential for enhancing learning
and fostering students' interest in the subject. Further steps in this direction can make
education more effective and accessible to all students, contributing to higher
achievements in the study of the English language in Kazakhstan.

Further research and developments in the field of AI in education can
encompass the following aspects:
1. Development of More Complex and Adaptive AI Systems: Creating AI
