WDS® Nextra Board

Product Data Sheet

Product Description
WDS Nextra Board is a rigid and compact microporous insulation board designed for applications where the best thermal
insulation performance (lowest thermal conductivity) up to 1000°C (1832°F) is the main selection criteria.
All WDS microporous insulation solutions offer exceedingly low thermal conductivity at high temperatures by limiting
convection, conduction and radiation through advanced techniques. This results in an insulating solution that is several
times better than typical high temperature lightweight insulation materials.
WDS microporous insulation solutions are the ideal choice for increased energy savings, space optimization and/or
reduction of weight.

Features Benefits

Environmental and Health Safety Resistance to Moisture and Water

WDS Nextra Board does not contain any hazardous or WDS Nextra Board has a porous surface therefore it is sensitive
decomposition substance according to the EU Directive to all liquids that can wet it; this includes substances such as
2006/1907/EEC and IARC. The fibers or filaments used water, oil and petroleum spirit, since they can destroy the pore
as reinforcement of the mineral core are also exonerated structure which would in turn affect the insulation properties.
from any classification as defined by the WHO (World Health Non condensed moisture, on the contrary, does not affect the
Organization) and EU Directive 97/69/EC. product.
Sensitivity to liquids of WDS Nextra Board can be eliminated
by using various surface treatment options outlined at the end
of this document.
