2) Training Management System

Training Management System is a SharePoint based automation process where tasks will
be assigned to the end user to attend the training. Tasks are also assigned based on
frequency. End users will attend the training through ribbon button in the SharePoint
calendar item which is created by the Training Coordinator, The approval of the training
request is done by the manager and then by the responsible team. Based on whether
foreign travel is needed an additional group manager will approve the request. Finally
the training status will be updated as either pass or fail by the training coordinator. Once
the training is updated as pass, the task item will disappear from the end users
dashboard.

There are basically two types of trainings: Internal and external. The responsible team
will be different based on the training type. Trainings are also automatically generated
based on frequency. An option to update the training information in bulk is also provided.
Once the training is completed the certificate is sent to the end user through email. An
option to print the certificate in bulk is also provided.

Process automation is the automation of processing of HR requests and Project

Submission Requests in SharePoint environment rather than having a manual process of
delivering HR Request Letters and Processing Project Submission Requests. Once the
Project is submitted it is processed by 4 approvers and finally closed. If any of the
approver rejects the request it goes back to one level.
HR letter is requested by the employee and if rejected by hr employee has to give proper
details and submit the request again.

web part. In this project search page is developed using xslt filtering in data view web
part. The security to edit the request by only the corresponding Administrators of the
View is done using Role based switching. Export functionality is provided to export search
results to excel sheet directly from the Web part.

The end-user requests a contract service. It will be approved and Assigned to a Contract
Administrator (CA) by Manager. The Manager can cancel the request. The CA will
acknowledge the request and he can also reassign to a different CA. After
acknowledgement CA will get an update view. Where he can update the request, to have
various statuses (“n” number of times). And finally he can complete. The completed
request can be reopened. Each operation by approver will trigger an email. And even a
search page is configured using xslt filtering. Export functionality is provided to export
search results to excel sheet directly from the Web part.
