Consider this in order to size the chassis:

• Processor
• Communications (Ethernet Network, Control Network, Modbus Network).
• I/O Modules, depending on I / O signals required

I/O Modules Distribution:

• Communication, there is no rule for the location; however it is advisable

to place it in the first slots.
• Input Digital Module: followed by the communication modules
• Input Analog Module: followed by Input Digital modules
• Output Analog Module: followed by Input Analog modules.
• Output Digital Module: Not polarized followed by the last Analog modules.
Polarized, Finals Slots of the chassis

For every I/O module there is a proper terminal block group affixed with the identification according to the
slot location.

The terminal blocks for I/O modules should be of Three-Level terminal block type with feed-through circuit
type with hinged-arm fuse circuit, and ground point.

AC / DC distribution system consist of Fuse Terminal to the active line (Line, or Positive) and terminal
step to the passive line.

All internal and external equipment are properly identified with tags printed by computer in plastic or metal
as the case may be, all the tips are wired properly and identified with the number of circuit by placing
labels printed via laser.

In order to communicate the controller with the monitoring system, it must have an Ethernet switch with
Ethernet cable that must be 4-pair UTP CAT5e type and meet T568B standards.

5. TEST
Electronic controllers including all the elements (hardware and software) should be tested under real
operation conditions, this include the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and on-site acceptance testing
(SAT). The supplier must provide fifteen (15) days in advance, all the test protocols for review and
approval

The test equipment must simulate the maximum operation conditions of the process. Test protocols
should detail the procedures and parameters, including the simulation of the process.

6. PREPARATION FOR SHIPMENT

"Preparation for Shipment" should be in accordance with vendor's standards for export. The vendor
must be the solely responsible for the adequacy of the "Preparation for Shipment" provisions related to

the cables and to provide them to the destination in "ex-works" condition when handled by
commercial carriers.

7. SHIPPING
Shipping instructions should be as per the purchase order.
