Week 05 - Task: Assignment - My old

school days

CRISTHIAN PAUL ROJAS QUISPE

Situation: Imagine you are interviewing a famous actor/actress on a famous TV program.

Your partner plays the role of the actor/actress. You want to know everything he/she
remembers about school days. Ask as many questions as you can about his/her favorite
subjects, sports, hobbies, teachers, and classmates, including questions about their
personalities. Also, ask a question about something the famous actor/actress did not like
doing in that time. Your partner answers the questions. When you finish, you switch the
roles.

Student B: Hello, and welcome to our show! Today we have a very special guest, a famous
actor/actress. Let’s talk about your school days. Can you tell us what your favorite subject
was?

Student A: Hi! Yes, my favorite subject was history. I loved learning about different periods
and cultures.

Student B: That sounds interesting! Did you have any favorite sports or hobbies when you
were in school?

Student A: Yes, I really enjoyed playing soccer and painting. Soccer was great for staying
active, and painting was a relaxing hobby for me.

Student B: Nice! How about your teachers? Do you remember any teacher who made a big
impact on you?

Student A: Oh, definitely. My art teacher was amazing. She was very encouraging and helped
me develop my painting skills.

Student B: That’s wonderful. What about your classmates? Were there any who were
particularly memorable or who you were very close with?
Student A: Yes, I had a few close friends. One of them was very funny and always made me
laugh. We had a great time together.

Student B: Sounds like you had a great time in school! Was there anything you didn’t like doing
during your school days?

Student A: Well, I wasn’t a big fan of math. I found it quite challenging and not as enjoyable as
my other subjects.

Student B: Thanks for sharing! Now, let’s switch roles.

Student A: Sure!

Student B: (now playing the famous actor/actress) Hello, and welcome! It’s great to have
you here. Can you tell us about your favorite subject in school?

Student A: Hi! My favorite subject was science. I loved doing experiments and learning about
the natural world.

Student B: That’s cool! Did you participate in any sports or have any hobbies back then?

Student A: Yes, I played basketball and enjoyed reading books. Basketball was fun, and reading
was a great way to relax.

Student B: Great! How about your teachers? Was there a teacher who made a difference in
your life?

Student A: Yes, my science teacher was fantastic. He was very passionate about his subject
and inspired me to pursue science further.

Student B: And what about your classmates? Was there anyone you particularly liked or who
stands out in your memory?

Student A: Yes, I had a friend who was always very supportive and kind. We shared many great
experiences together.

Student B: Was there anything you didn’t enjoy doing in school?

Student A: I didn’t like writing long essays. I found it time-consuming and preferred more
interactive activities.

Student B: Thanks for sharing your memories with us today!
