All registered criminologist shall be exempt from taking:

FIRE OFFICER EXAMINATION (FOE)


PENOLOGY OFFICER EXAMINATION (POE)
NATIONAL POLICE COMMISSION (NAPOLCOM)
CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION (CSE)
RA 6506
- Known as “an act creating the board of examiners for criminologists in the Philippines”
- Obtain general average of at least 75% with no rating below 50% in any subjects

RA 11131
- Known as “the Philippine criminology profession act of 2018”
- Obtain general average of at least 75% with no rating below 60% in any subjects

RATING IN THE CLE ( CRIMINOLOGY LICENSURE EXAMINATION)


- To pass the exam, a candidate must obtain a general rating of 75% with no grade less than 60% in any
given subject.
- In case the examinee obtain a general rating of 75% but has a grade below 60% in any subjects, the
result is DEFERRED.
- The deferred examinee shall only be allowed to retake once within 2 years and required to obtain a
grade not lower than 80% on the subject.
- If the examinee failed to retake after the lapse of 2 years or failed to get 80% on the subject, he shall
retake all the board subjects.
- Any examinee who failed 3 or more subjects shall be deemed to have failed the board examination.
