Appendix 1 Time Encryption Instructions

Step 1: Find out the serious number of the controller DDCS Expert:
On the main page and press F6, g to the System info:

Here we can check out the controller series number.

Step 2: Open The Key Generator software and generate a key file for time
encryption.

Description:

1: Any 6-digit English charactors is acceptable;

2: It should be same as the series number shows, 0330 means 3 axis, 0340 means 4 axis, 0350
means 5 axis;

3: This is the product series number, should be same as the controller shows;

4: Here it’s very easy to make mistakes. When its new controller and never set the time before,
it shows“0000”, when you already set one time, it shows ”0001”, when you already set time 10
times, it shows“0010”.You should be very careful about it when you enter this time. It also need to
be same as the controller shows.

5: Working time: -1 means there is no limited time, and also you can put any integer, the range is
1-9999, the unit is hous.

6: The password should be same as the super admin password, the default number is 888888.

After all the numerical settings are completed, click the generate button and a file named
“fkey”will be generated in the same folder as the“key generator”software.

Step 3: Copy the“fkey”file into the root directory of the USB-stick, and insert
in to the controller, and reboot the controller.
Then the time encryption is done.

Notice:

1，Here we can see the last number of the series number becomes to 0002.

2, If set the working time less then 48 hours, when controller starts up, it will pop up a window
to show“Dead line is coming soon, pls contact factory.”.

An example to set the working time to 96 hours:

Time Encryption function only can work at DDCS Expert V2.1, the software
version is 20240828 or newer version.
