Data Migration in SAP

Data Migration steps in SAP as below

1: Data Extraction: We look for the objects that the client wants to upload into system. I.e,
Customer, Vendor, GL, Asset, PC, CC, IO and so on this is Master data and in the same way
Transaction date of Balances and line items like that.

2: Data Cleansing means Data Cleaning. Any data duplicates or any data missing, any data fields
missing like that. And this very critical phase where the data should be accurate so that there will not
be any issue during the data upload of Master data and Transaction data. Basically, this job is
Business Team/ User Job and SAP team also will help them.

3: Data Transformation: Means, legacy data for changing according to SAP format and field mapping
like in legacy system PC is Africa but in SAP is 1000 so that the data is Transforming.

4: Data Loading: Here in this step SAP upload/Migration tool will come into picture like LTMC &
LSMW.

5: Data Verification: once uploaded the data should validate the data in SAP.
