Greetings from AICTE…

As we look to the future, addressing environmental challenges is more pressing than ever. In
this spirit, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched the
Generation Green campaign in partnership with OPPO India, managed by 1M1B (One
Million for One Billion). This initiative aims to empower students to become responsible
citizens, build a green mindset, and develop the skills necessary for success in a thriving
green economy.

As part of this program,


• OPPO India is offering 5,000 sustainability internships for college students in
partnership with AICTE.
• Students from any year and all streams, technical and non-technical are eligible to
apply.
• Selected students will conduct activities to empower their peers in green skills and
sustainability.
• Internships are free of cost to all students.
• All Participants who complete the program’s activities will receive credit points and a
completion certificate.

To disseminate this information among students and faculty, an orientation session is


scheduled on 18th July 2024 from 11:30 AM onwards.
