In November of 2021, GE announced that in order to survive in the rapidly changing marketplace, the
company would spend billions of dollars into a digital strategy. MBA students can learn a lot from other
organization’s failure.

Now it is your turn to use ChatGPT (ver 3 or 4) or CoPilot to learn more about GE’s Digital
Transformation failure and complete this assignment. ChatGPT or CoPilot or other technologies will be
referred to as AI in this document.
This paper will align the literature on GE failure via ChatGPT and the GE podcast.
The paper will contain the following:

• Title Page
• Academic Integrity Statement
• Introduction
• 1). Using AI, identified 10 reasons why GE’s Digital Transformation Failed.
▪ A. The paper can directly copy the 10 reasons from AI. Use the APA for all AI
information.
▪ B. For each AI reason, ask for the reference for that reason. Copy the reference
and then find the actual article and include the link to the article directly in the
body of the paper. This is best done using a table. If you are unfamiliar with

• 2). After listening to the podcast, cite from the podcast and include the time of the quote, all the

the reason is identified by AI or if the reason is not identified by AI.
• 4). As an MBA student with your various personal and professional background, which reason for
failure do you think you could resolve. How might you solve this problem – give a brief
overview. Your selection of the reason for failure will be used Assignment 2.

• The paper must flow some logical flow. Use of headers are required.
• The paper will be marked on the rubrics shown below. Ensure your paper follows the rubrics.

• You must talk about all your findings in your report and record it on MS. Teams with in 8 to 10
