(sample of cover page attached below)
2. Acknowledgement
3. Certificate
4. Index
5. Aim and theory of project, Apparatus required
6. Explanation of project
7. Conclusion
8. Bibliography
TOPICS:
1. To study the working of a full-wave bridge rectifier.
2. To study the working of PN junction in forward bias and reverse bias condition.
3. To verify oersted’s experiment.
4. To show Diffraction pattern of ray of light.
5. To Demonstrate how wireless power transfer works, especially focusing on inductive
coupling and its applications in charging devices like phones.
6. Demonstrate magnetic levitation using neodymium magnets and explain how maglev trains
work.
7. To assemble a household circuit of three bulbs.
8. To study the construction and working of a Kaleidoscope.
9. To investigate how capacitors store and release charge and their role in electronic circuits.
10. To study the working principle of step down transformer.
11. To study the magnetic field of a coil and a wire.
12. To study the torque experience by a coil loop in uniform magnetic field.
13. To study various factors on which the internal resistance/ EMF of a cell depends.
14. To study the variations in current flowing in a circuit containing an LDR because of a variation
in
(a) The power of the incandescent lamp, used to 'illuminate' the LDR (keeping all the lamps at a
fixed distance).
(b) The distance of an incandescent lamp (of fixed power) used to 'illuminate' the LDR.
15. To find the refractive indices of (a) water (b) oil (transparent) using a plane mirror, an equi-
convex lens (made from a glass of known refractive index) and an adjustable object needle.
16. To investigate the relation between the ratio of (i) output and input voltage and (ii) number of
turns in the secondary coil and primary coil of a self-designed transformer.
17. To investigate the dependence of the angle of deviation on the angle of incidence using a hollow
prism filled one by one, with different transparent fluids.
18. To estimate the charge induced on each one of the two identical Styrofoam (or pith) balls
suspended in a vertical plane by making use of Coulomb's law.
19. To study the factor on which the self-inductance of a coil depends by observing the effect of this
coil, when put in series with a resistor/(bulb) in a circuit fed up by an A.C. source of adjustable
frequency.
20. To study the earth's magnetic field using a compass needle -bar magnet by plotting magnetic
field lines and tangent galvanometer.
