INSTALLATION

INSTRUCTIONS

CLINICAIR 1B

AND CONDENSING UNIT

(Direct expansion)

Page 1 on 12 Installation instructions CLN V1

Probes connections

The temperature and humidity signal cables must not be located near the
220/380 V power supply cables or near the contactors wiring ;this way,
we can avoid the risk of error of
measurement caused by electromagnetic coupling

 Probe air intake

 To take a 2-pair shielded cable between the CLINICAIR® and

the probe
 To connect following the schematics (Refer Technical Manual)

 Probe air supply (if it is not pre-mounted on the Clinicair)

 To take a 2-pair shielded cable between the CLINICAIR® and
the probe
 To connect following the schematics (Refer Technical Manual)

Page 2 on 12 Installation instructions CLN V1

Power connection

The CLINICAIR® must be supplied with 400V + N + T 50Hz, with a quadrupole

curved head protection D of appropriate size

To determine the appropriate protection refer to the power table on the

schematics of CLINICAIR® (see individual data sheet)

To take a cable for the power

supply of the CLINICAIR,
from the electrical box to the
CLINICAIR and connect it
according to the schematics.
(Note the dimensions of the
electrical protections on the
electrical box recommended
on the connection sheet)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS OF CONDENSING UNIT

1. Mounting

To respect minimum spaces around the

unit external to allow good air
circulation and access for maintenance

The group should be installed on a flat

surface and mounted on anti-vibration
pads

Page 4 on 12 Installation instructions CLN V1

Remove the restrictor located on the
liquid valve of the unit

Install the dryer and sight glass on

liquid line of the unit

(provided by the customer)

Page 5 on 12 Installation instructions CLN V1

2. Refrigeration connections.

2.1. Connection diameters (Refer connections instructions)

Refrigeration piping must be dehydrated refrigerated grade copper (norm EN 12735-1)
2.2. Particular case : condensing unit located at the top of
CLINICAIR

Provide an oil trap at the upflow and

every 3 meters at suction in case of
vertical upflow to the unit compressor.

Maximum drop-off is of 21 meters

Si If the upflow is more than 6 meters

provide 2 pipes for suction and 1 pipe
for liquid line
