EVALUATION REPORT SUMMARY

LaCasa: Creating Avenues for Student Activeness


Arts and Sciences Department Acquaintance Party
October 19, 2022 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

The Arts and Sciences College Council organized the Acquaintance Party, named LaCasa:
Creating Avenues for Student Activeness, on October 19, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The
primary objective of the event was to foster relationships among Arts and Sciences students and
faculty while encouraging student engagement with the Council's future activities.
I. SUMMARY
a. Relationship Building: The Acquaintance Party aimed to establish stronger bonds among
Arts and Sciences students and their faculty members. The event provided a platform for
students to interact, socialize, and develop connections within the academic community.
b. Student Engagement: The Council sought to encourage further student engagement by
showcasing its upcoming activities. The Acquaintance Party served as an avenue to
introduce students to the Council's initiatives and generate interest and participation.
c. Feedback Collection: To evaluate the success of the event, an Evaluation Form was
distributed through various channels such as Facebook group chats, posts, and emails. A
total of 102 responses were collected, providing valuable feedback on the Acquaintance
Party.
II. RECOMMENDATIONS

a. Schedule, Duration, and Venue: Seating Arrangements: Address the concern raised about
the organization of tables and chairs, particularly for the freshmen attendees. Ensure that
the seating arrangements are well-organized, labeled, and easily identifiable for all
participants, providing a comfortable and inclusive environment for everyone.

b. Food Distribution: Take note of the comment regarding the distribution of food. Consider
revising the food distribution process to streamline it and enhance the participants'
experience. One suggestion is to provide food stubs to attendees during the registration
process, ensuring a smoother and more efficient food distribution afterward.

c. Program Design and Activities: Continue designing engaging and diverse activities that
cater to the interests of Arts and Sciences students. Incorporate a mix of interactive
sessions, icebreakers, and team-building activities to promote active student involvement.
