Simple, Complex, Compound

Simple sentence : একটি sub ও একটি obj থাকে।


Complex sentence চিনিবার উপায়: if,
unless ,though, Although, since, As, Because,
when, who, what, which, that , so that,
so_____that, in order that থাকে। Compound
sentence চিনিবার উপায়: but, or, otherwise,
and, so, hence, thefore, yet, while, ইত্যাদি।
Complex to Compound
Rull no1:Though/Although থাকলে:
Though/Although কে বাদ দিয়ে উভয় বাক্যের
মাঝে but/yet বসাতে হবে।
1.Though I had enough money, I did not help
him.
=I had enough money but I did not help him.
Rull no2:So that/in order that/that থাকলে and
হয়।
1.He works hard so that he many shine in life.
=He works hard and he many shine in life.
Rull no3.So_____that=very_____and
1.Mita was so cleaver that she could finish the
work esily.
=Mita was very cleaver and she could finish
the work esily.
Rull4.Since, As, Because, থাকলে Since, As,
Because Since, As, Because এর পরিবরতে
‍and/and so বসে।
1.Since the weather was bad,I did not go out.
=The weather was bad and I did not go out.
Rull5.When যুক্ত বাক্যের ক্ষেত্রে When
কে বাদ ‍দিয়ে উভয় বাক্যের মাঝে ‍and বসে।
1.When it was 9pm,she phoned me.
=It was 9 pm and she phoned me.
Rull6. If যুক্ত বাক্য হ্যা-বোধক হলে:
Main verb +বাকী অংশ+ উভয় বাক্যের ‍সাথে ‍and
+পরবর্তী বাক্য+.
If you take physical exercise, you may
become healthy.
Take take physical exercise and you may
become healthy.
Rull7.Relative pronoun :Relative pronoun
যুক্ত complex sentence কে Compound করার
ক্ষেত্রে relative pronoun কে বাদ ‍দিয়ে and
বসে এবং relative pronoun এর আগের শব্দের
pronoun form পরবর্তী বাক্যের sub হয়।
Relative pronoun:W/h
1.It is health which is wealth.
=It is health and it is walth.
2.Rahim who reads in class six is my brother.
=Rahim is my brother and he is reads in class
six.
I saw a bird which was flying in the sky.
=I saw a bird and it was flying in the sky.
3.It is she who has failed in the exam.
=It is she and she has failed in the exam.
4.The house that looks very nice is red colour.
=The house is red colour and it looks very
nice.
Complex to simple
So__________that
Too_________to{that এর পর থেকে বাদ}
1.He was so weak that he could not speak at
all.
=He was too weak to speak at all.
2.Babu is so short that he can not touch the
fan.
=Babu is too short to touch the fan.
So that/that/in order that উদ্দেশ্যমূলক বাক্য
হলে :to/in order to
1.We eat so that we may live.
=We eat to live.
2.He runs so fast too catch the bus.
=He runs in order to catch the bus.
Rull.1: If যুক্ত বাক্য হ্যা-বোধক হলে:
=>শুরুতে by+If যুক্ত বাক্যের মূল
verb1+ing+বাকী অংশ+,+পরবর্তী বাক্য।
1.If you work hard, you may shine in life.
=By working hard,you may shine in life.
2.If he takes physical exercise, he will become
healthy.
=By taking ph ysical exercise, he will become
healthy.
If যুক্ত বাক্য না-বোধক হলে বা unless যুক্ত
বাক্যের ক্ষেত্রে:
=>শুরুতে without+if যুক্ত বা unless যুক্ত
বাক্যের মূল verb1 +ing+বাকী অংশ+,
+পরবর্তী বাক্য+.
1.Unless you red more,you may not get A+.
=Without reading more,you may not get A+
2.If he did not run fast, he would not reach
there timely.
=Without running fast, he would not reach
there timely.
 Though/Although যুক্ত
বাক্যের ক্ষেত্রে:
Though/Although এর পরিবর্তে In spite of +
sub এর possessive form + being/having/মূল
verb + ing + বাকী অংশ +,+পরবর্তী বাক্য+.
1.Though I had enough money, I could not
help him.
=In spite of My having enough money, I coud
not help him.
2.Although he was ill, he could not attend the
party.
=In spite of his being ill, he could not attend
the party.
