SCRIPT FOR

STUDENTS’ RESEARCH PRESENTATION


BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Audio – Visual Learning Center
April 28, 2022 @ 01:30pm-04:30pm

1) “Research is seeing what everybody else has seen and thinking


what nobody else has thought.” – Gyorgyi, 2015

2) In the quest for a culture of excellence and a community of


research, the Holy Cross College of Calinan has been always on
its practice to produce quality papers which would soon be of
contribution to the existing body of knowledge. It continuously
thriving for educational competence at par with global standard.

3) The deluge brought about by this health emergency has disabled


us to gather in an activity like this for two years, however, it did
not become a hurdle to stop everyone, the academe and the
school at large in delivering real-world learning. Thus today, we
are privileged to witness this milestone of the Magnates Division.

4) Let us dispose ourselves and embrace God’s solemnity to


accompany us in this journey. We ask the providence of the
greatest architect of heaven and earth. After which, it will be
followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and
HCCC school song through an audio-visual presentation.
Please, stay seated and focused.

5) To our distinguished and esteemed panel of reactors, to our


dynamic and adroit School President, Sister Cherie Eloisa
Garrote, PM, PhD, to the main man and the exuberant Dean of
College, Dr. Rizalito H. Paga, to the dexterous and clever pool
of program heads, Dr. Jennifer C. Remperas of the Teacher-
Education Program, Dr. Yonilyn A. Loyloy of the Liberal Arts
Program, Miss Catherine Cataluña of the Physical Education
Program, and Dr. Alladin G. Loro of the Business
Administration Program, whose student-researchers will be the

presenters today, to my fellow instructors and research
enthusiasts, students, visitors and friends, good morning,
welcome to the Students’ Research Presentation of the
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Program.

6) I am Mr. Jay D. Ontal, your master of ceremony, now signing on


for today’s activity.

7) This very assembly is a moment to cherish as this embarks a


new leap of success of our student researchers.

8) To officially welcome everyone here in this prestigious gathering


for her welcome remarks, may we hear words from the School
President, Sister Cherie Eloisa Garrote, PM, PhD. A warm
round of applause please!

9) Thank you Sister Cherie.

10) This activity is designed to recognize the groups with the best
research outputs this school year. Likewise, this is to provide
student-researchers as well the opportunity to effectively
communicate their research findings to the teachers and fellow
students. More so, it gears to identify some of the research
agenda to be investigated in the future based on the findings and
recommendations of the researchers, and this aims to inspire
others to engage and embrace the challenges of doing scientific
investigations.

11) For today’s exposition of critical minds, the presenters will be


reacted by the respected and dignified panel of reactors. To
introduce the jury, may I ask Miss Angelie Mamites, an English
and Literature Instructor to name them. A hand please!

12) Thank you Miss Angelie.

13) I know you are as excited as I am to see the fruits and harvest of
our students.

14) Student-researcher presenters, please be reminded that your
group is given only 10 minutes to present your paper and 5
minutes to answer the questions from the reactors.

15) Without further waiting, let this academic endeavor commence.

16) The first presenter will provide us an information about some


strategies and competitiveness of inland resorts here in Calinan
District. Ladies and gentlemen, help me welcome, Mister John
Kier Raga. A round of applause please.

17) Thank Mr. Raga and to your company.

18) This time, the study to presented is a feasibility study on the


possibility of a unique printing business in Calinan. To share their
research finding and result, let us have Mister Jims Karlo Galan.
Let’s clap our hands please.

19) Thank you Mr. Galan and to your team.

20) Next in line is a paper which highlights the importance of brand


name to the loyalty of customers to fast food here in the locality.
To share the pieces of information from their research study, may
we have, Mister Kenneth Jimlan, a hand please.

21) Thank Mr. Jimlan and to your group.

22) We have seen by far how these research outputs are trying to
provide Calinan the service it needs. And how these papers have
wanted to create a meaningful effect to the locals and residents of
the said place.

23) Moving forward, in the advent of milk tea invasion in so many


places, this next presenter will emphasize the salient contribution
of packaging to the buying preference of the college students to

the said product. To give us better view of this, let us welcome,
Mister Eugene Chavez. A round of applause please.

24) Thank you Mr. Chavez and your groupmates.

25) This time, we will witness another feasibility study which focused
on the possibility of a street food in a box. This seems to be
something new and fresh. To give everyone the highlights of their
research finding and results, please welcome, Miss Charish
Hope Paculanang, a hand please.

26) Thank you Miss Paculanang and your company.

27) We come to the last presenter, but definitely not the least. Their
study will center on the possibility of a beverage business which
will soon create a name of it own in the business arena. To tell us
about the paper, may we have Miss Justine Tecson. A round of
applause please.

28) Thank you Miss Tecson and your team.

29) Congratulations dear student-researchers. What you did this


time is a manifestation of your learning. You have unraveled
indeed you’re your potentials and make use of these brilliantly.
Kudos to the Magnates Division.

30) Please be reminded also that the best presenter will be declared
and announced during the Gawad Parangal 2022.

31) At this juncture, the panel of reactors will be given their


certificate. To hand in this certificate, may I call in the Dean of
College, Dr. Rizalito H. Paga and to be assisted by BSBA
Program Head, Dr. Alladin G. Loro. A hand please.

33) Thank you so much distinguished panel of reactors for gracing
your time and expertise with us, and to Dr. Paga and Dr. Loro as
well.

34) We have started our journey with the intervention of our God, so
it is just right and proper to end this by thanking Him of guiding
presence today. Let us have our closing prayer to be led by Mrs.
Kriska Bea May Serentas, a BSBA Instructor.

35) We have come to an end of our activity today, but is only just a
part of the many activities that school will proffer to let the
students have quality education and life-long learning.

36) I am now looking forward to another set students’ research


presentation.

37) Together, we engage into research, we embrace research!
