Global English IV: Present Yourself 1 Project #3 Paired Role Play Video

Students will prepare a short Role Play Video with a partner. It is worth 3% of the
students’ total grade. The score is individual – there is no team score. So, remember to
PARTICIPATE EQUALLY! Both students should be asking and answering questions. The
purpose of the role play is help students use the grammar, vocabulary and other materials
learned in a creative way. The video be a maximum of 2 minutes in length. The file size
of the video should not be larger than 30 megabytes.

How to Prepare:
1) Sign up on e-campus with your Partner.
2) Choose your unit. You can choose Unit 4, 5, or 6.
3) Brainstorm with your partner about your topic. What is your role play
topic/situation?
4) Write your Script. Be sure to use the grammar and vocabulary from your unit.
5) PRACTICE! Speak loudly, clearly, and naturally with good pronunciation. Don’t forget
about your body language, posture, and gestures. Most importantly, do not read
your Script!
6) Video Record your Role Play. Then, watch your role play with your partner and give
yourself a score according the rubric. Check which areas you need to improve!
7) Upload your final video to e-campus before November 30th. The video file size
must not be larger than 30mb, or you won’t be able to upload .
