Assessment 6

Question 1

1.1.1 Research
 Critical evaluation of online sources, teach learners on how to critically evaluate online
sources for reability and credibility, and use interactive exercises to demonstrate the
difference between academic sources.

 Digital research collaboration

Utilize platforms like google drive or microscope one drive , for collaboration, the research
projects, this will encourage and foster teamwork and exposes learners to real world
research collaboration tools. The online discussion and shared documents encourage
teamwork and expose student to diverse perspectives.

1.1.2 collaboration
 utilize technology to facilitate groupwork and communication. In some platform like google
workspace(formerly g suite) offer tools such as google docs, sheets, and slides, enabling real-
time collaboration and document sharing.

 introduce project management tools like treble to help students to organise tasks and
deadline, when they are working as a group, or team, or in collaboration.

1.1.3 Communication
 I would like to encourage the community to speak diverse languages. For students to learn
different kinds of communication barriers. And effectively involve digital communication and
acknowledge technology such as podcast, web conferencing and voice-narrated videos and
slides presentation, can be used effectively to develop oral communication skills which can
support social interaction.
 This will include the following: using emails and websites, creating accurate presentations,
with software like, Microsoft, teams, PowerPoint, excel, and normalize practising an effective
online discussion and presentation skills through platforms like Microsoft teams or zoom etc.

1.1.4 Critical thinking

 Multiple representations and models clarify complex concepts and procedures, students are
better able to grasp complex concepts. When key information and task are explained using
wide array of modalities. (verbal, visual, graphical, and symbolic) and instructional
arrangements ( videos, lectures, graphics, displays, audio files, and imitations It also foster
critical thinking and increase the accessibility of content by offering learners more option for
applying knowledge and skills.
 Scaffolded practice
Help student solidity skills, online and blended learning environments provide more
opportunities for students to experience skills and concepts. These experience helps foster
critical thinking by transferring knowledge from long -term to short -term memory.
1.1.5 Problem solving
 Will try to engage with student in developing deep understanding of important concepts and
principles, developing skills relevant to authentic future applications, despite the difficulties
and time frame in preparation involve in designing appropriate relevant problems
 Some of the learners are motivated by the opportunity to solve problems,
simplifications, can therefore engage teachers by designing activities in which they
are challenged to solve problems, related to their professional lives.
 I also regard technology as a tool to use to present real – world scenarios and
simmulations.it can also support explanations, collaboration enquiry, and the
development of skills required for students moving into modern world. It can
support problem solving when the tools are available, to enhance the ability to help
students explore problems and inequalities.

Question2

2.2.1 Do you agree or disagree with the statement.

 yes, I agree

2.2.2 Discuss the new obstacles mentioned in the statement:

 All these technological advancements and integrations has a significant impact on
various industries, for example, in manufacturing the use of robotics and automation
is helping to enhance productivity and lower costs, while in healthcare, telemedicine
and remote procedures are allowing patience in rural underserved regions, to get
care. AR can also lead to memory retention, when not in functioned, as individuals
might rely more on digital aids than using their memory or cognitive skills. This
dependence can also diminish real-world interactions and experiences, potentially
affecting social skills and personal relationships.
 VR can cause motion sickness; you may feel dizzy and suffer from eye strain due to
mismatch between their body movements and VR world . they are usually concerned
about their eyes , damage, computer vision syndrome is a result of widespread use
of computers.
 AI can cause challenges when using it as incomplete inaccurate or biased data, which
can lead to flawed insights and decisions or wrong outputs. Moreover, Robotics have
been utilized for repetitive and risky duties, allowing for more efficient production
lines and keeping humans employees away from potential harmful location.

2.2.3 Discuss the ethical issues mentioned in the statement:

They may be some unrealistic expectations that may occur, spending too much
time in a cyber reality could lead to people to have unrealistic expectations of
real life. VR is said to have already massively boosted the adult entertainment
industry, the exaggerated fantasies become too immersive, then it could lead to
real- life difficulties.
Another issue of AI it may be having a lack of transparency of AI tools: AI are not
always good to humans, in it is not neutral, their decision is sustainable, to
inaccuracies, discriminatory outcomes, embedded or inserted bias.
The machine learning is fair and bias like AI, it is learned from historical data, and
that data contain biases, the algorithms can preserve and even exacerbate
those biases, AI and ML can enhance speech recognition, and more accurate
picture and facial recognition. The outcomes of ML are legit and are effectively
functioning as mentioned above; remedy is available against discrimination and
biased algorithmic determination.
Augmented reality has an issue in implementing privacy and security,
transparency and explainability, accountability and responsibility,
discrimination and algorithmic bias and it can accommodate consent, and
human interaction and empathy.

 Robotic can has grown significantly in manufacturing, logistics and healthcare.

2.2.5 Discuss the societal issues mentioned above.

 AI is characterized by the following social issues, Accessibility of Data, and

integrity privacy, safety, algorithmic bias, and the explainability of outcomes, and
the transparency. AI and machine learning advancement also benefits sectors in
the society like fraud, detection, personalization, and predictive analytics can
have some environmental behaviour which may lead to social isolation,
hindering the development of crucial social abilities, and weakening existing
relationships. In additionally, the immersive nature of VR may raise concern
about addiction, impacting mental health and overall well-being.
 The robotics have some of the imitations in human in the society separation and
having a feeling of loneliness can come from this, which may affect the mental
health. People may have loss of skills and information when they depend too
much on robots.
 Augmented reality. Has an issue in social behaviour and interactions, it can
increase communication and social engagement through shared virtual
experience’s, concerns about dependency, social isolation, and the erosion of
human relationships have been implemented.
