Executive Summary:
The goal of this project is to design and develop a user-friendly mobile application that
allows patients to book doctor appointments and register with a hospital or the clinic
online, reducing wait times and improving the overall patient experience.This app will be
developed for both android and iOS devices.
● Patients can create a profile and register with the hospital or clinic through
the mobile app.
● Required fields: name, date of birth, address,email id,phone number, and
aadhar details.
● An OTP will be sent to registered mobile and email for the verification of
registration.
● After successful registration MRD number will be allocated to the patient
● After registration a message will be displayed to proceed with booking,if
the patient selects no,only profile will be added.But MRD number will be
allocated to the patient.
● Patients can search for available appointment slots by doctor and
specialty for the registered hospital or clinic.
● Patients can book and confirm appointments through the app.
● Patients may also need to pay the booking and consultation fees through
the app.The app usage fee is Rs 50(Fixed),for each booking,but the
consultation fee for a particular doctor will depend upon the hospital or
clinic.
● After successful registration email and sms will be sent to the patient
confirming the appointment.
● Also the mobile will give a notification for successful appointment booking.

● Comply with India's Personal Data Protection Bill (PDPB, Health Data
Management Policy,The Information Technology Act, 2000, and the
National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) guidelines.
● Implement robust security measures to protect patient information like
encrypting information related to authentication and authorization in the
app.Also it is better to encrypt all sensitive data of patients.
9. Integration:
● The hospital or the clinic will provide necessary data and integration
support.
● Patients will have access to smartphones and high speed internet
connectivity.
● Regulatory compliance will be maintained throughout the development
process.
