OUTLOOK

1. Outlook Not Responding or Freezing


(Outlook becomes unresponsive, freezes, or crashes during use.)
-check any error message
-check with internet connection (system is connected with internet)
-check with web outlook (office.com)
-close outlook and reopen outlook
-Repair PST/OST Files using the Inbox Repair Tool
Close outlook from task manager
(open run command (window + r )> type appdata > go to local file
> go to Microsoft > go to outlook > suppose in there is two ost
file need check which ost file is large > large ost file rename like
ost.old > save )
Reopen outlook and check
-update outlook (Outlook, go to File > Office Account > Update
Options, then choose Update Now)
-repair outlook (control panel programs  programs and features
outlook  right click quick repair)
-create new profile (control panel  click mail  add profile  select
always use this profile)

2. Email Sending or Receiving Issues


(Unable to send or receive emails, emails stuck in Outbox, or error
messages when sending.)

-Check and reconfigure email settings (server settings, port numbers),


verify your internet connection, and confirm there are no server outages.

3. Outlook Slow Performance


Outlook takes a long time to open, search, or perform actions.

-Archive old emails, reduce the mailbox size(delete unnecessary email),

4. Search Function Not Working


(Emails or contacts are not showing up in search results.)

-Rebuild the search index (Control Panel > Indexing Options > Advanced >
Rebuild)
- update Outlook.

5. Outlook Email Attachments Not Downloading or Opening


(Unable to open or download email attachments.)

-confirm that the attachment is not corrupted.


-Ensure the attachment file type is allowed
