I have attended Fourth Aditya-L1 Support Cell Workshop at ARIES, Nainital.

During this
workshop, I completed a mini project on the Sun's coronal holes, utilizing data from NASA's
SOHO satellite. This project not only enhanced my understanding of solar phenomena but also
provided practical experience in data analysis and interpretation relevant to solar physics. The
workshop also included hands-on sessions where participants engaged directly with
observational techniques and data processing methods, further solidifying my practical skills.

Third Aditya-L1 Support Cell (AL1SC-2023) Workshop at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-
BHU), Varanasi, from 25-27 February 2023. Similar to the previous workshop, this event
featured hands-on sessions that focused on various technical aspects of the Aditya-L1 mission,
emphasizing observational techniques and data processing.

In addition to the Aditya-L1 workshops, I have participated in key summer schools that have
further strengthened my foundation in space astronomy:

IUCAA Introductory Summer School in Astronomy and Astrophysics (ISSAA) 2022 at IUCAA,
Pune and IIA Summer School at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bengaluru, These
programs covered practical aspects of astrophysical data analysis and the use of observational
techniques.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to contribute to and participate in the International Workshop
on Science and Technology in Astronomy Research (STAR-2022), held at Pt. Ravishankar
Shukla University, Raipur. As a member of the local organizing committee (LOC), I worked
closely with the organizing team to facilitate the event. One of the highlights of this workshop
was my demonstration of a project titled "Python in Astronomy: The H.R. Diagram," where I
created a Python code in Jupyter Notebook to calculate the distance using the Main Sequence Fit
method, which was well-received by participants. The workshop also featured insightful talks,
including one by Prof. Gulab Dewangan from IUCAA, Pune, on “AstroSat - India's first multi-
wavelength space observatory,” and another by Prof. Nandita Srivastava from PRL, Ahmedabad,
on “Solar Physics.” These talks provided me with critical insights into the workings of space
observatories and current research in solar physics, both of which are highly relevant to the
AstroSat project.

Moreover, during my MSc, I gained significant experience in Astrosat LAXPC data analysis for
the CEN X-3 source. This involved analyzing data from one of India's key space-based missions,
enhancing my skills in handling and interpreting large datasets from space telescopes.

I am also keenly aware of the latest research in the field, such as the recent paper titled "India's
AstroSat and NASA's Space Observatories Capture Dramatic Eruptions from Stellar Wreckage
around a Massive Black Hole" (Nicholl et al., 2024, Nature, arXiv:2409.02181). This highlights
the collaborative efforts and advancements in observational astronomy, reinforcing my
enthusiasm for contributing to significant discoveries in this field.

These experiences have given me a deep understanding of space missions, the technical
processes involved in data acquisition, and the analytical tools needed to interpret space-based
observational data. My training in solar physics, multi-wavelength data analysis, and proficiency
in astronomical software tools such as IRAF and Python will enable me to contribute effectively
to the data processing and software development tasks in the AstroSat and SUIT/Aditya-L1
projects.

dissertation project, I worked on the analysis, synthesis, and modeling of the spectrum of Supernova
SN 2012cg. The CCD data were processed using the IRAF package, and I generated synthetic model
spectra using the SYN++ package, which were then compared with the observed spectrum. This project
provided me with valuable experience in spectroscopic analysis and modeling. .
