Hi Aleks,

Please see attached updated Energy Memo.

Further information needed on:

- Further low impact energy efficiency measures on Be Lean to be considered for both residential and non-
residential.
- Further information on overheating.
- Email correspondence for DHN potential.
- Capped off connections for commercial spaces.
- Future connection drawings.
- Further site-wide PV roof layout and PV provision to be justified.
- Further information on ASHP.
- Be Seen submission confirmation.
- Draft S106 should be submitted.

With regards to WLC, the consultant has stated that they reviewed the submitted information in August last
year. Their comments are once again attached.

As a way forward, I suggest Council include appropriately worded conditions to cover any outstanding issues
regarding Energy and Carbon. If you wish, I can ask Energy/WLC officers if they can suggest wording for
conditions?

Please let me know.

Regards,

Scott

Hi Scott,

Thank you for your response.

I have started uploading documents to Stage 2, however, realised that these would not be categorised as per the
submitted information and it would be messy to review them, so I created a WeTransfer link – please see below.

Any issues, please do let me know. I look forward to hearing back from you with any comments.

Many thanks,

Aleks

Hi Alek,

Thanks for your email.

If you wish our energy team to review any post stage 1 information then I suggest you upload it
specifically to the Stage 2 file on the portal. Once you have done so, let me know and I will consult
the energy team to review and make comment. If this is done in the next few days, there shouldn't
be an issue with getting comments by the 16th.

Regards,

Scott

Hi Scott,
2
Just to clarify from my email below as I spoke with our admin team, we don’t send specific Regulation 25
consultation requests to the GLA so your team would have not received this.

Nonetheless, it would be great if you will be able to review the information as I mentioned below and let me know if
you have any particular comments.

Many thanks,

Aleks

Subject: RE: GLA0217 - Ailsa Wharf - Stage 1 - additional information

Hi Scott,

I hope you have been well and are looking forward to this sunny weekend.

It has been a while since we last spoke on this application, and I am unsure if you have previously received the
additional information from the applicant’s team directly, so I wanted to provide an update on what has been
happening.

We have received various responses from the applicant, including responses to the GLA’s queries. More recently, we
have also received further environmental information for which Regulation 25 consultation is being finalised this
week. There have been also some minor changes as a result of the addition of a second staircase, as well as minor
repositioning of Block C to respond to the EA’s previous objections. All of the additional information is available on
the planning register to be viewed. You should have also received the consultation request for the Regulation 25
consultation, which summarises some other minor changes.

I wanted to ask you if you could please review the submitted information, particularly in relation to energy and
other specialist matters and let me know any additional comments you or your colleagues might have. Given that
we might try to take the scheme to Committee, all being well, could I please ask you to come back to me with any
comments by Friday 16 June so the applicant can respond these if required.

Any queries, please do let me know. Happy to have a quick catch up on Teams if that’s helpful.

Kind regards,

Aleks
