Details Scope of Works

1. The successful contractor shall carry out routine maintenance on THREE-MONTHLY BASIS and no less than
FOUR TIMES for the duration of the contract. The interval period between each maintenance works shall not
be more than 130 days and not less than 100 days. The successful contractor shall perform all (but not
necessarily limited to) the work outlined in "Details of Maintenance Work".

2. At the end of every servicing and maintenance work, the contractor must ensure that CCTV Cameras, DVRs,
Workstation & Display unit covered in this contract are in good operating condition. The completeness of the
works will be bond with 1 month running without problem. Otherwise the contractor shall re-do and bear the
cost of servicing.

3. Labours charge & insurance cost shall be included in the contract cost. As for material and spare parts, the
condition stated below shall apply.

4. In the case of major defect occurring which requires replacement of materials not outlined in "DETAILS OF
MAINTENANCE WORK", the contractor shall inform the Plant General Manager or his representatives
immediately on the cause of defect, the necessary repairs and the cost of repairs. Only after approval has been
obtained for the replacement shall the contractor replace the items/materials.

5. The contractor shall provide all tools, material, transportation and manpower for the successful execution of
the work.

6. The contractor shall, within 24 hours of being informed by the Plant General Manager or his representatives,
attend to any breakdown of any of the CCTV Cameras, DVRs, Workstation & Display unit covered in the
contract. The contractor shall provide STANDBY SERVICE between the hours of 0800 - 1700 hrs on all days
during the duration of the contract. The contractor shall submit to the station the name(s) and telephone
number(s) of the contact person(s) immediately after being awarded the contract.

7. The contractor shall provide a supervisor to coordinate the work and cooperate with the station. The
supervisor will control and be responsible for all his men for the duration of the work.

8. At any time during the execution of the work, representatives from the station shall be present. To avoid
unnecessary delay and confusion, the contractor shall inform the station the planned date of work at least one
week before the scheduled date.

9. The contractor shall perform all work on working day (Sunday – Thursday) and during station normal working
hours, 0800 – 1700 hrs. Shall the contractor wish to work or continue to work outside the stipulated time, an
approval from the Station Manager or his representatives must be sought.

10. After every routine servicing the contractor shall submit to the Plant General Manager or his representatives a
service report with the following contents:

a) Details of work carried out on CCTV System.


b) Condition and status CCTV Cameras, Digital Video Recorder (DVR), Workstation and Display Units.
c) Status check for power supply, network switch, fibre optic, network cable, IP address, backup
verification and related items for CCTV system
d) Relevant photos of maintenance task that are carried out

11. The contractor shall exercise up most care when working in temperature, humidity and dust sensitive areas
such as computer and control room. The contractor shall pay for any damage that occurred due to the
negligence of the contractor's personnel.

12. The contractor may be required from time to time to instruct the station's personnel on the safe and efficient
operation of the CCTV system.

13. The contractor shall provide workers with valid NIOSH TNB Safety Passport (NTSP) to perform the maintenance
works at TNB Premises.

14. The contractor shall perform Covid-19 Swab Test (RTK Antigen) before allowed to enter station during
maintenance & servicing works, attending breakdown and/or repair work.

DETAILS OF MAINTENANCE WORK

The following are details of maintenance work that shall be carried out by the contractor. All man hours and
materials consumed during the execution of the work outlined below shall be included in the cost of the
contract.

1. MAINTENANCE WORK ON CCTV SYSTEM

a) Check the CCTV System functionality (Cameras, DVR, Workstation & Display) and
identify the damage if any.
b) Perform routine maintenance inspection which consist of Panel cleaning, health check
on the DVR and CCTV Workstation inclusive of ‘reformatting’ the system if needed.
c) Verify the IP address, rearrange or update cameras location and description.
d) Check the setting of the CCTV system (e.g. brightness, contrast, recording mode,
network bandwidth and recording period etc.).
e) Check, clean and tighten every terminal connection (e.g. BNC Connector, Patch Cord,
Patch Panel, media converter, network switch etc.)
f) Check and make good on every camera focus area or camera mounting if needed.
g) Check the power supply for every CCTV camera, DVRs, Workstation, Display and other
related components.
h) Perform routine backup of CCTV & verify the status of backup performed.
i) Cleaning works for all CCTV camera, pole, patch panel and related components.
j) Provide maintenance report for every routine maintenance or repair service done and
recommended action to be taken.

EXTRA WORKS
Any extra work/material on the CCTV System will be paid according to "Bill of Quantities" in Schedule B until E
