Throughout the Semester, a student


• Has to attend every lecture/tutorial punctually.

• To accommodate for sickness and other emergencies, the

attendance requirement shall be a minimum of 80% of the

classes held.

• Failure to reach 80% attendance shall result in restriction from

appearing the Internal Assessment and Board Exams.

2.1 Classroom Presentation

• Throughout the Semester, each student/group has to make AT LEAST ONE

classroom presentation on an assigned topic.

• The Presentation should:

 be designed on a computer software such as PowerPoint or Keynote.

 have: a cover page

several content pages
a conclusion page followed by Q/A
no more than six bullet points on each slide
no long sentences or paragraphs on the slides
consistency in font and style throughout the slides

• You will receive Presentation Assignment on Google Classroom /

Fuseclassroom or in your College Email with 4 to 7 days of preparation time.

• Deadline for presentation WILL NOT be extended in ordinary circumstances.

• In extraordinary circumstances, one of the group members will have to write an

email in advance citing legitimate reasons and requesting for an extension.

4. Mid-Term and Final Assessments (15)


Approximately halfway through the Semester and at the end of the
Semester, the College will conduct Internal Assessment Exams.
The exam paper,

 will feature two types of question: objective (10 Marks) and

subjective (50 Marks)

 objective (Section A) will have 10 multiple choice questions.

 subjective will have two sub-sections: Section B and C

Subjective Questions Breakdown:

Section B: Short-answer questions – Attempt 6 out of 8 (30 Marks)

Section C: Long-answer questions – Attempt 2 out of 3 (20 Marks).

5. Board Exam (60)

• At the end of the Semester, Office of the Dean, Faculty of


Humanities and Social Sciences at Tribhuvan University will
conduct Board Exams.

• The questions will be asked in the same format as internal Mid-


Term and Final Assessments Exams.

The College will provide model questions of the Board Exams in due course.
