Accidental Release Measures
Small Spill Dilute with water and mop up, or absorb with sand or vermiculite.
Large Spill Stop leak if without risk. Keep damp using water spray. Eliminate all ignition sources. Absorb spilled
material with sand or vermiculite. Put the contaminated absorbent into a DOT approved container and
dispose of according to the methods outlined in the "Disposal Considerations" section. Be careful that the
product is not present at a concentration level above TLV. Check TLV on the MSDS and with local
authorities.
Section 7.
Handling Measures & Storage
Handling Keep container dry and tightly closed in a cool, well ventilated area. Separate from acids, alkalis, reducing
agents and combustibles. Keep away from heat and other sources of ignition. Do not ingest. Do not
breathe gas/fumes/vapor/spray. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Storage Store in cool, dry, well ventilated area. Product is stable under normal conditions of handling and
storage.Emptied containers retain vapor and product residue. Observe all recommended safety precautions
until container is cleaned, reconditioned, or destroyed. Protect against physical damage. Avoid storage on
wood floors.
Section 8.
Exposure Controls & Personal Protection
Specific Engineering Controls Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep
airborne concentrations of vapors below their respective threshold
limit value. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are
proximal to the workstation location. Consult local authorities for
acceptable exposure limits.
