Save the Church Culture

The written prayer is directly from the message that God has given you this week. It can be used for your scheduled prayer time, to aid in the mission God has given you of having 10 minutes of concentrative prayer, or during your personal meditation on the pulpit message. As you read this prayer, let these Words become the confession of your heart.

1/15/12 Written Prayer -

Heavenly Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth Lord, I confessed the scripture of Galatians 2:20 - that I no longer live but Christ lives in me. I must live only by Your power and only for Your sake. In order to do this, I have to let go of myself. Lord, show me and let me discover what I must let go of. Let me have a firm answer to this question, in order to have victory.

From the Bible, I know that Adam's failure happened because he lost hold of the Word. Even though Adam received the Word from You, he did not take hold of it. The proof of that was Eve did not have firm hold of the Word. The both of them lost hold of the Word and because the reason behind the failure of mankind. The moment Adam was not sure of the covenant, it wasn't just him himself but his family was also destroyed and curses came upon his descendants. I need to take this onto myself in my faith. I need to hold onto the fact that when I lose hold of the Word, it's not just me that receives curses or disasters but also my family and people around me. Because Satan is a spiritual being he knows exactly what I am thinking. Lord, the Bible tells us that people are slaves to problems. They suffer from the greed of the eyes, pride of the vanities, good for food, desire for knowledge. All people live in this way, even those of us who go to church are unable to come out of these desires. You have given us the answer to why even though people go to church but still fall into the desires of the world. Jesus came to resolve this problem. Because Satan knows very well that if I fall into these temptations I will never be free. Let me hold onto the Word.

God, everything was overcome by Your Word. I have to hold onto the fact that the power of the Word is really valuable and precious. If I want the solution to the problems of my life, I need to observe what Jesus did. I need to hold onto who Jesus, Your son, is. Your Son created all things by His power. Everything in nature, everything in this world was created by the words that Jesus spoke. You sent Your Son to save mankind. Your love for me is beyond speakable. You showed me that the only way to overcome Satan and all of my problems is to only hold onto and follow the Word. Jesus performed the work of Christ as a servant. Jesus only spoke what You taught Him. Because Jesus knew Adam and Eve failed, he realistically showed us how to live our lives. Because Jesus wholesomely glorified You, You made sure that Jesus received all the glory as well.

I have been saved as a child of God. As a child of God, I look at Jesus on how I should live my life. When I love for You and Your glory, I must not live for earthly human desires but only for Your glory. There is nothing that I did, only by Your grace. You gave up everything and came to die for my sins. All these tremendous blessings of 1 Peter 2:9 have come onto me. Your desire is that because Jesus came to fulfill these purposes, all I have to do is speak about these. Those of us who have accepted Jesus Christ, ourselves, are a church. Those who have received salvation and gather in one place are a church. And those who die and go to Heaven, that is a church itself. Lord, You have given us the meaning of saving the church culture. I must save the church and save myself.

True works take place through faith and the Word. This is what I need to hold onto we may seem very weak. We take hold onto the covenant of world evangelization, but we may seem weak to other people. The power of You, who came to fulfill the Word, is upon me. I need to confirm and see if Jesus really lives in me through hardships and difficulties. How can I test myself? I need to examine myself if Galatians 2:20 is truly working in my life. Not only will I live, but Dallas and America will live. When I hold onto the covenant, the Holy Spirit of Acts 2:1 will come upon me. Let me be victorious in the life that Jesus lived. In Jesus Christ's Name I pray, Amen
