The task to be developed involves 30 students from one group of mixed learning abilities (low
ability, mid ability and high ability students).

30 students in Form 3 will divided into 15 pairs, they required to create portrait or landscape
photography with a flora and fauna subject matter. The students can use any camera device
to complete their assignments. The students are required to print the picture in A3. This
assessment’s result will be evaluated based on a criteria-referenced approach and
documented based on the rubric’s numerous criteria individually.
• Photography is a visual art form and presenting one's work allows students to
develop skills in conveying ideas, emotions, and messages through visuals.

Explain the Planning and Preparation Process (Before the assessment is communicated/released
to the students) (Eg. Duration of assessment, the documents involved, etc.)
The duration of the assignment completion is two weeks. The time given is sufficient for
students to do various research and find a suitable subject matter. The students will be
informed of the assessment a week in advance in class and through WhatsApp. The student
required to bring original picture (Softcopy) and printed picture A3 size.
Explain the Mechanism for Assessment Administration (from the point the assessment is
communicated to the students to the point the evidence of learning is gathered)
During the first hour before the assessment, the student must set up their artwork in the class.
The duration of the assessment is two hours. Each pair will give an 8-minute presentation
duration. Each student in the pair must participate in the presentation. The order of
presentation will start with pair number 1 followed by the next pair. The student must present
and explain their artwork. The teacher is allowed to ask questions and the teacher will observe
the discussion and evaluate through the rubric provided.

This assessment will be assessed based on the following criteria: Knowledge, Presentation
Skills, Creativity, and composition
