between which and what. They are often both

question word: what time, what colour, what size, etc.

- We use how to inquire about:-
- Methods ( How do you cook rice?)
- Condition ( How are you?)

We can also use how + adjective/adverb as a question
word in phrases like how often, how old, how tall, etc.

- Adverbs of time –
- What is an adverb?
- an adverb is a word that modifies (gives more
meaning) to the verb
- Adverbs of time:-
Adverbs of time mainly modify verbs and tell us when
something happens.

- Examples:-
- Yesterday.
- Today.
- Tomorrow.
- etc.
- Adverbs of Frequency :- are adverbs of time that
answer the question "How frequently?" or "How
often?". They tell us how often something happens.

- I usually wake up at 9:00 am
*When the verb “to be” is used, these adverbs come
after the verb:
 John is always late to work.
 Maria is sometimes tired in the evenings.

* Form ( definite ) :-
- Subject + verb +….. + adverb of frequency ( definite )
- Examples :-
 Every employee pays taxes yearly.
 She drinks coffee every day.
 The nurse checks the patient every hour.
 He visits his grandparents weekly.
1. Read the information about Jacob, Karina, Samuel and Maria and write a
short paragraph describing their daily routine. Use simple present and verb
