Subject: Additional Warranty for Medium Commercial Trucks (16T) – Cargo Trucks & Construck

We are pleased to inform you about extension of existing vehicle warranty on Medium
Commercial Trucks.
A. Vehicle warranty –
Cargo Trucks / Construck: Existing vehicle warranty of 18 months / 1,50,000 kms / 2000
hrs shall remain same..
B. Driveline warranty – Existing Warranty applicable on driveline (Engine, Transmission &
Rear Axle) has been increased as per below table.

Drive Line components / parts covered under subject additional Warranty policy:

1. ENGINE

Cylinder Block including:

Pistons, Piston Rings, Connecting-rods & bearings, Crankshaft, Crankshaft main bearing,
Gudgeon pins & bearings, Thrust bearing.
Cylinder Head including:-
Camshaft, Camshaft bearings, Cam followers, Timing-gears, Timing chains & guides, Rocker
assembly including:, Rocker arm, Rocker shafts, Rocker bushings, Cylinder head valves,
collects, valves lifters, Valve springs, Valve seals, Valve spring retainers, Valve seats, Valve
guides, Pushrods, Head gasket (s), Oil-pump (including oil-pump housing), , Inlet & Exhaust
manifolds, Flywheel ring gears, turbo charger, compressor , & other small items which are not
included in Excluding list .
Excluding: - Fuel injection pump. All cables including wiring harness, all belts including timing
belt(s). All hoses & tubes, clamps & chips, Engine mountings, Oil-pan, tensioner device
including bearing, Core plugs, Breathers & Filters, water pump, V-belt, thermostat, radiator &
intercooler , Oil seals.

2. TRANSMISSION

Manual-Internal gears & shafts, Synchro rings and bearings, Synchro hubs, Selector fork,
Odometer drive- gears, and other smaller parts not included in excluding list given below
Excluding: All cables & rubber bushes, Gearbox mounting, Clutch-plate, Pressure Plate,
Release bearing, Reverse light switch, sensors & solenoids seals & bushes, Oils seals &
gaskets.

3. DRIVE TRAIN

Crown-wheel & pinion, bearing , Differential gears, Differential housing, Driveshaft &
Wheel-bearings, Axle- bearings, Locking rings, Front axle, Free-wheeling hub, Propeller
shaft, Twin speed axles and other smaller parts not mentioned in excluding list below, stabilizer
bars, anti-roll bar.
Excluding: Gaiters, Clips, Rubber boots, Rubber-couplings, Mountings, Universal-joints, & oil
seals.

Any component / part not mentioned in the above list should be understood as not covered
under the subject additional 2 year warranty.
