Micro-Project Proposal
(Format or Micro-Project Proposal about1-2pages)
Title of Micro-Project:- “ONLINE TICKET BOOKING”
Aims/Benefits of the Micro-Project(minimum30-50words)
*Aim:*
The aim of the Online Ticket Booking System project is to create a web-based platform that facilitates the convenient
booking of tickets for various events, movies, transportation, or any other ticketing needs. This system aims to streamline
the process of ticket booking by providing users with a user-friendly interface to search for, select, and purchase tickets
online.
*Benefits:*
1. *Convenience:* Users can book tickets from the comfort of their homes or on-the-go, eliminating the need to visit
physical ticket counters.
2. *Accessibility:* The system is accessible 24/7, allowing users to book tickets at any time, regardless of their location.
1.0 Course Outcomes Addressed
1) HTML Proficiency: Students will demonstrate proficiency in HTML markup for creating web pages.
2) Form Creation: Learners will create HTML forms for user input, such as selecting tickets and providing personal
information.
3) Basic CSS Styling: Students will apply basic CSS styling to improve the visual presentation of the booking interface.
4) Responsive Design Principles: Implementing responsive design ensures the booking system is accessible across
various devices and screen sizes.
Proposed Methodology (Procedure inbrief thatwill befollowed todo the micro- project) in about
100 to 200 words).
To develop an online ticket booking HTML project, you can follow these steps:
1. *Project Planning*: Define the scope, objectives, and requirements of the project. Identify the target
audience and their needs.
2. *Research*: Study existing online ticket booking systems to understand common features, user
interfaces, and best practices.
3. *User Interface Design*: Create wireframes and mockups of the web pages using tools like Adobe XD,
Sketch, or Figma. Design an intuitive and user-friendly interface for booking tickets.
4. *Database Design*: Plan the database schema to store information such as user details, event details,
ticket availability, and bookings.
5. *Frontend Development*: Write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to implement the user interface based
on the design. Ensure responsiveness for various devices.
6. *Backend Development*: Use server-side technologies like Node.js, Python (with frameworks like Flask
or Django), or PHP to handle user requests, process data, and interact with the database.
7. *Integration*: Connect the frontend and backend components to enable communication between the
user interface and the server.
8. *User Authentication*: Implement user authentication and authorization to allow users to sign up, log in,
and manage their accounts.
9. *Booking Functionality*: Develop features for browsing events, selecting tickets, and making bookings.
Handle seat availability, payment processing, and confirmation messages.
10. *Testing*: Perform thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, ensure functionality across different
browsers and devices, and validate user flows.
11. *Deployment*: Deploy the application on a web server or cloud platform, ensuring scalability and
security measures are in place.
12. *Maintenance and Updates*: Regularly update the application with new features, security patches, and
bug fixes based on user feedback and changing requirements.
By following this methodology, you can create a robust online ticket booking HTML project that
meets the needs of users and provides a seamless booking experience.

1.0 Rationale (Importance of the project, in about 30to 50words.This is a modified version of the earlier
one written after the work)
2.0 Aims/Benefits of the Micro-Project:-(In about 50 to 150 words)
3.0 Course Outcomes Achieved(Add to the earlier list if more Cos are addressed)
a) Understanding of HTML fundamentals: You would have learned the basics of HTML, including tags, attributes, and
structure, which are essential for building web pages.Form creation:
B) You would have gained the ability to create forms using HTML, allowing users to input information such as their name,
email, and payment details.
C) User interface design: You would have learned how to design user-friendly interfaces for online ticket booking systems,
including layout, styling, and responsiveness.
D) Input validation : You would have learned how to validate user input using HTML attributes and JavaScript, ensuring that
users provide correct and complete information when booking tickets.
4.0 Literature Review:- ( you can include all the resources which you have used to gather the information for
the Micro-project)
Sample:-
 WEB PAGE DESIGNING
 FORM CREATION AND VALIDATION
5.0 Actual Methodology Followed (Write step wise work done, data collected and its analysis (if any). The
contribution of individual member may also be noted.)
Requirements Gathering: Understand the specific requirements and functionalities needed
for the ticket booking system. This includes determining the types of events or services for
which tickets will be sold, the user registration process (if required), payment options,
seating arrangements (if applicable), and any other relevant features.Design Planning:
Create a design plan for the user interface, database structure (if using a database), and
overall system architecture. This involves sketching wireframes or mockups of the web
pages, defining the database schema, and planning the interaction flow between different
components of the system.HTML Markup: Begin by creating the HTML structure for the
various web pages of the ticket booking system. This includes pages such as the home
page, event listings, event details, seat selection (if applicable), user registration/login, and
payment confirmation. Use semantic HTML elements to ensure accessibility and
maintainability.CSS Styling: Apply CSS styling to the HTML markup to enhance the visual
presentation and layout of the web pages. Use CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or custom
stylesheets to create responsive designs that adapt to different screen sizes and devices.
Pay attention to typography, colors, spacing, and other design elements to create a
cohesive and visually appealing interface.Form Creation and Validation: Implement HTML
forms for capturing user inputs such as event selection, seat preferences, user registration
details, and payment information. Use HTML5 form validation attributes (e.g., required,
pattern, min/max length) to validate user inputs on the client side. Additionally,
implement server-side validation to ensure data integrity and security.
