Objectives

At the end of the discussion, atleast 80% of the students will be able to:

a. Identify renewable resources and non-renewable resources.

b. Describe how living things benefit from the environment.

c. Appreciate the importance in protecting and to conserve the natural resources.

II. Subject Matter

Topic: Earth and It's Natural Resources

References: Science Work pp. 244-247

Materials: Projector, Laptop, Paper

Values Integrated: Appreciating the wonderful environment we live in.

III. Procedure

A. Preliminary Activities

 Prayer
 Greetings
 Classroom Conditioning
 Checking of Attendance
 Review of the previous lesson

B. Motivation

( Energizer such as songs/ dance)

C. Activity

The teacher will give a picture puzzle to the students. Divide them into 2 groups and each group will
be given an envelope that consists of pictures that they will going to form and show to the class..
D. Analysis

The teacher will ask the following questions to the students;

a. What have you observed from the activity?

b. What do you think would be our topic for today?

E. Abstraction

The teacher presents their topic by relating to the previous activities. The teacher will provide some
examples about the two kinda of natural resources. Discuss everything about the topic clearly for the
clear understanding of the learners.

F. Application

The teacher will group the pupils into 2 groups. The teacher will provide pictures and let the students
to identify what type of natural resources is that. Each group will choose a representative to present
their answers and discuss it to the class.

IV. Evaluation

Write R on the blank if the material is renewable and N if it is non-renewable.
