2023-24
INTRODUCTION

The introduction part will include a brief introduction about the project to be
developed, the technology used, the field of the project (if specialized one), and any special
technical terms about the project.

Begin by stating the title of your project and its genre (e.g., novel, screenplay, research
paper). Briefly introduce the central theme or topic of your project. What is the main subject
matter you will be exploring or discussing? Provide a bit of context or background information
about the subject. Why is it relevant or important? What existing knowledge or discussions does
your project build upon? [1] Clearly state the purpose or objective of your project. What are you
aiming to achieve or explore? What questions are you seeking to answer? Explain why your
project is significant or why it matters. What contributions does it make to the field or the
understanding of the topic? If your project involves an argument or central claim, include your
thesis statement. This succinctly summarizes the main point or perspective you will be arguing
for. Provide a brief overview of the structure of your project. What are the main sections or
chapters, and how do they flow? [2]

Kindly cite papers and websites as [1] ,[2] from where you have taken help and mention
them in part of the references attached in the last of the synopsis.
FEASIBILITY STUDY

This will describe the very first step of software engineering i.e. feasibility study of the project
that includes the feasibility, need, and significance of the project.
PROJECT METHODOLOGY

In the "Project Planning" section of a synopsis, you'll want to provide a concise overview
of how the project will be organized, managed, and executed. Here's a guideline on what to
include.

Clearly state the objectives of the project. What specific goals are you aiming to achieve?
These objectives should align with the overall purpose of the project. Define the scope of the
project, outlining the tasks, deliverables, and milestones that will be included. What
activities are within the project's scope, and what are its boundaries? Present the project
timeline and schedule, including key milestones and deadlines. Provide an overview of
the project's phases or stages, indicating when each phase will begin and end.

Software/Hardware required for the development of the project.

ENTITY RELATIONSHIP DIAGRAM

Database is absolutely an integral part of software systems. To fully utilize ER Diagram in

database engineering guarantees you to produce high-quality database design to use in database
creation, management, and maintenance. An ER model also provides a means for communication.

ER Diagram is optional. If your project involves a database then only ER Diagram will be
provided.
0 LEVEL DFD/ CONTEXT DIAGRAM

Context Diagrams are high-level visual representations that show the interactions between
a system being developed and its external entities, such as users, other systems, or processes. They
provide a big-picture view of how the system fits into its environment without diving into the
internal details of the system itself .

LEVEL 1 DFD

DFD is the abbreviation for Data Flow Diagram. The flow of data of a system or a process
is represented by DFD. It also gives insight into the inputs and outputs of each entity and the
process itself. DFD does not have control flow and no loops or decision rules are present. Specific
operations depending on the type of data can be explained by a flowchart. It is a graphical tool,
useful for communicating with users , managers and other personnel. it is useful for analyzing
existing as well as proposed systems.

Sample DFD is shown below, you can prepare for your project,
