Professor, Operations Management and
Quantitative Techniques Area, IIM Indore

Prof. Rohit Kapoor is a faculty member specialising in Operations

Management and Quantitative Techniques. He holds a Fellowship
from IIM Ahmedabad. His research focuses on Supply Chain
Management, Production Planning, Inventory Control, and Network
Design. Prof. Kapoor is well-versed in Mathematical Programming,
Optimal Control, Monte Carlo Simulation, and Meta-Heuristics. His
work has been published in prestigious journals, including Global
Business Review, Business Process Management, and the
International Journal of Mathematics in Operational Research.
Additionally, he has presented field cases at conferences and
published them in various journals.

 Admission Criteria
Participants will be selected based on their application and overall profile, subject
to meeting eligibility criteria.

Attendance Criteria

• Participants are expected to attend all sessions of a given course. However,

they may take leave on account of emergencies subject to the approval of the
Programme Coordinator
• A minimum of 75% attendance is a prerequisite for the successful completion
of the programme
• For less than 75% attendance, a grade cut will be applied as per the norms.
• If the attendance is below 30%, the participant will not be eligible for awarding
the Certificate
 Assessment & Evaluation
Performance of participants will be monitored on a continuous evaluation basis
through quizzes, assignments, tests, and examinations. The participant must score
minimum marks/grades as decided by the Institute to complete the course.
