ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The success of any task relies on the efforts made by person but it cannot be achieved
without cooperation of other persons which are being helpful. So, we would like to thank S.S
Agrawal Institute Of Engineering And Technology for giving us the opportunit y of doing this
Design Engineering project.
The entire session of our DE completion was a great experience providing us with the insight
& invocation into learning various technique & benefits of teamwork. We would like to take
this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to all those people without whose support and
co- operation, it would have been difficult to complete this project.
Primarily, we are very much thankful to our project guide Prof. Farhin Mansur for his leading
guidance and sincere efforts throughout project work. He took deep interest in simplifying
the difficulties. Also, he has been consistent source of inspiration for us. We are grateful to
our H.O.D. Brijesh Bhandari and our Guide Prof. Farhin Mansur for providing us deep
knowledge and all necessary resources.
We are also thankful to our Friends and Non-teaching Staff for their valuable time & help for
completion project. Once again, we are grateful to all those without whom this this work
would not have been successful.
ABSTRACT
Floods are among disasters that cause widespread destruction to human lives, properties
and the environment every year and occur at different places with varied scales across the
globe. Flood disasters are caused by natural phenomena, but their occurrences and
impacts have been intensified through human actions and inactions. practice of flood
disaster management have evolved over the years from traditional approaches of ad -hoc
response measures to integrated approaches involving technologically advanced tools in
flood disaster awareness, preparedness and response measures

1. Introduction
Design Thinking is a process, applicable to all walks of life, of creating new and
innovating ideas and solving problems: it is not limited to a specific industry or area of
expertise.
-Discover User
-Find Multiple problems
-Select key problem
-Find Multiple solution
-Select key solution
-Prototype
-Take user feedback
-Redesign the prototype
-Final solution
The design thinking is good approach for finding the final solution for the key
problem. There are many phase in design thinking and we need to pass all that phase for
getting final solution of our problem .

STORY BOARDING:
❖ Happy Story:
with In the town of Clearwater, people lived peacefully by the river, always
smiling and enjoying life. One day, the weather forecast announced heavy rain,
which could lead to flooding. But instead of worry, the people of Clearwater felt
calm and prepared. They trusted their new flood system, "HappyFlow," designed
to keep them safe in the most cheerful way possible.
Emergency crews, equipped with the latest technology, arrived early. But even
they joined in the positive spirit, joking with the townspeople as they set up flood
barriers and monitored the river’s water levels. Everything was under control, and
everyone remained calm and happy.
When the rain finally came, the town was ready. The river swelled, but thanks to
the well-prepared defenses and the HappyFlow system, Clearwater stayed safe
and dry. The rain passed, and the floodwaters never touched the town. People
cheered, high-fived, and celebrated the way they had come together.
The town had faced the threat of flooding, but instead of fear, there was
teamwork, positivity, and confidence. Everyone in Clearwater knew that, no
matter what the weather brought, they could handle it—a smile.
Sad story :
in the small town of Riverton, the rain began to fall harder than anyone had
expected. The river swelled rapidly, and despite their efforts, the flood barriers
failed. People scrambled to save what they could, but the water rose too fast.
Homes were swept away, and the streets filled with silence as the town watched
in despair. What once was a vibrant community was now submerged, leaving
only memories of what had been.
