IP Exam
1. Candidate is required to appear at the exam centre on the specified date & time. Candidate should reach the
exam centre at least 45 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidate will not be permitted
to enter the examination hall after the commencement of the examination. The duration of each Paper is 180
minutes.
2. Candidate must bring this Admit Card at the examination centre. This Admit card will be collected by the
Invigilator during the 1st Paper and will not be returned to the candidate, except for taking the Candidate's
Signature during subsequent papers. Candidate should keep a photocopy of the Admit Card with him/her for
future reference. Candidate will put his/her Signatures on this Admit Card in the given box ONLY in the presence
of Invigilator during each Paper in the examination hall.
3. Use Blue/Black ballpoint pen only for writing and darkening the bubble/circle of the OMR Answer Sheet. Marking
with "Gel" or any other type of pen is NOT allowed.
4. In the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) Answer Sheet, for every question there is only one Correct Option. Darken
the appropriate bubble/circle to indicate the Correct Answer. No Change is permissible thereafter. Darkening of
more than one bubble/circle for a question/answer will disqualify the answer for evaluation. DO NOT put any stray
marks anywhere on the answer sheet. Rough work may be done on the blank space in the question booklet. There
is "No Negative Marking".
5. OMR answer sheet has two copies. Do not separate them. Impressions marked on the Original Sheet will
automatically get transferred to the Carbonless Copy. Immediately after completion/close of each Paper/exam,
Candidate has to handover the ORIGINAL copy to the invigilator and candidate may retain Carbonless Copy with
him/her. It is the responsibility of the candidate to handover the ORIGINAL OMR Sheet to the room invigilator
immediately after the end of the exam. Question Booklet is allowed to be retained by the candidate.
6. Candidates are likely to undergo frisking at the entrance of the exam centre. Candidates are required to cooperate
with the frisking by the staff.
7. MOBILE PHONES/SCANNING DEVICES/SMART WATCH/CALCULATOR/ANY ELECTRONIC GADGETS are strictly
prohibited inside the examination centre. Candidates are not allowed to carry any Papers, Notebooks, Reference
books, etc. in the examination hall. Any candidate found using or in possession of any such unauthorized material
or indulging in malpractice, copying, or adopting unfair means will be summarily disqualified. Use of any
electronic equipment even remotely connected adverse to proper conduct and performance of the examination
may render a candidate liable to be expelled from the Examination Hall and/or cancellation of candidature apart
from any other punishment/penalty that may be imposed upon the candidate.
8. Candidate will not be allowed to leave the examination hall till the expiry of the full duration of the examination.
9. At any stage, if it is found that a candidate is not eligible to appear in the examination, his candidature will stand
cancelled. He may also be disallowed to take the examination.
10. Candidate is required to bring Department ID card, in original, along with the admit card. In the absence of
Department ID Card, the candidate can bring a duly stamped Authority letter from his/her Controlling Officer.
11. Please read the instructions carefully on the Question Booklet and the OMR Answer Sheet. The candidate should
fill up all the particulars legibly and darken the appropriate bubble/circle on the OMR Answer sheet before starting
to answer the questions as per the instructions. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure correct
filling up of entries and darkening of corresponding bubble. Non-Darkening or Irregular darkening of bubbles of
Roll Number/Question Booklet Series will lead to rejection of the OMRs from evaluation
