STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Give details of the applicant’s current circumstances. This includes ties to family, community,
employment and economic circumstances.
I come from a family of five, including my father, mother, elder brother, elder sister, and myself. I am fond
of my parents, and I intend to look after and remain by their side as they age. Moreover, they have a
significant number of properties and movable assets of BDT 42,561,267/- (approx. AUD 89,934/-) that I
must take care of. My plan upon completion of my studies is to return to Bangladesh and actively contribute
to the flourishing technology sector. I aim to engage with prominent companies, leveraging me education and
expertise in roles that will benefit the technological landscape in Bangladesh. Despite the challenges of
leaving my loved ones behind in Bangladesh, I am driven by a strong sense of familial ties and a
commitment to contributing to my homeland. This decision is underscored by the comfort and belonging I
experience in Bangladesh, and I am confident that these factors will pull me back to my home country.
Explain why the applicant wishes to study this course in Australia with this particular education
provider. This must also explain their understanding of the requirements of the intended course and
studying and living in Australia.
After researching educational opportunities in various countries including the USA, UK, Canada, and
Australia, I have chosen Australia for its exceptional academic standards, affordability, favourable climate,
and safety. Australia's emphasis on research and practical skills aligns more closely with my career
aspirations. After considering various universities, I have selected the CQUniversity for its outstanding
reputation, diverse course offerings, scholarship and well-equipped research facilities. CQUniversity
graduates were ahead of the national rate for graduate full-time employment which is currently at 96.3%. In
Bangladesh, overseas degrees are highly valued due to global recognition. Even though similar programs are
available here, most universities lack access to opportunities and proper training for this specific degree. The
choice I made to study in Australia does not disregard the value of education in my native country but rather
prepares me for superior employment possibilities in the future. Information technology (IT) skills are in
high demand across industries. With businesses increasingly relying on technology for their operations,
there's a constant need for skilled IT professionals.
Explain how completing the course will be of benefit to the applicant.
My plan upon completion of my studies is to return to Bangladesh and actively contribute to the flourishing
technology sector. I aim to engage with prominent companies, leveraging me education and expertise in roles
that will benefit the technological landscape in Bangladesh. An IT degree opens up a wide array of job
opportunities. I can work as a software developer, network engineer, cybersecurity analyst, database
administrator, IT consultant, and much more. IT skills are versatile and applicable across various
industries. Whether it's IT sector, healthcare, finance, entertainment, or manufacturing, virtually every sector
requires IT expertise in some form. I would anticipate earning approx. BDT 100,000/- after my graduation

Give details of any other relevant information the applicant would like to include.
I have always been sincere towards my studies, and I want to work extremely hard so that I can build myself
as a specialist in my field and make my parents proud of my achievements. The sole purpose of achieving
this degree is to obtain outstanding career opportunities in my country. In Bangladesh, there is great value in
foreign education in the job market, and achieving this degree will provide me with a competitive advantage
over my peers. I can avail top positions with lucrative salary offers. So, I don’t want to struggle in a foreign
country away from my family whereas I can lead a comfortable life in my country. Moreover, the cost of
living is quite low in Bangladesh compared to Australia. So, coming from a family with a strong financial
and social standing and the ample career opportunities that await me here, I am firm in my decision to return
home after completing the degree and lead a comfortable life with my loved ones.
