VIDEO TASK EVALUATION CRITERIA

CONTENT
Student responses to the questions with relevant, extended and supported ideas. Fulfils 5
the task within the given time limit.
Student fulfils the task sufficiently, almost within the given time limit. 4
Student tries and makes an effort to fulfil the task. Response is basic/fails to meet duration 3
criterion.
Student fulfils the task partially. Provides little or no information. Video duration is below 2
the time limit
Student barely addresses the task. 1
VOCABULARY
A wide range of vocabulary is used correctly and appropriately according to the context. 5
Expected vocabulary is used but with a few errors of context. 4
Vocabulary is used in a limited way. 3
Vocabulary management is below expected. 2
Vocabulary management is poor. 1
FLUENCY
Ideas are delivered clearly and they are easy to follow, pauses are natural. 5
Ideas are delivered with some hesitation but manages to continue and complete thoughts. 4
Student is able to deliver the message, but pauses are not natural. 3
Ideas are not delivered clearly, which causes confusion to the listener. 2
Ideas are so difficult to follow with long pauses. 1
PRONUNCIATION
Pronunciation almost never interferes with meaning and it is effective for proper 5
communication. Sounds natural.
Minor pronunciation problems occur but communication is not interfered by errors. 4
Some pronunciation problems that interfere with the message may be present. 3
Frequent problems with sounds that cause confusion or misunderstanding may be 2
present.
Pronunciation is unintelligible and interferes with communication. 1
