ANOTHER WAY TO SAY “HAVE”
Some English speakers,
especially in the UK, use
“have got” instead of “have.”
It means the same thing.
The only difference is the word “got.”
Only use this form when using “have” with “Has not got” can be
“got.” Don’t shorten “I have” to “I’ve a dog.” shortened to “hasn’t got.”
