JD - IT Engineer Applications - Workforce App Support
This individual contributor translates business requirements and functional specifications into
software solutions, develops and modifies integrated business or enterprise applications, and
facilitates the implementation and maintenance of these solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Completes assignments by applying current knowledge to meet deadlines, following policies,
and utilizing data to support projects.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to solve business problems, supports the completion of
priorities, communicates progress, and escalates risks.
- Pursues self-development by sharing resources, responding to feedback, and adapting to
changes.
- Leverages DEVOPS, Waterfall, and Agile practices to design and deliver secure, high-volume
cloud-based solutions.
- Provides recommendations for technical solutions and incident support for moderately
complex issues.
- Assists in the identification of technical specifications and ensures functional requirements are
translated into flexible and scalable solutions.
- Supports component integration and user acceptance testing, performs fixes, and maintains
documentation.
- Develops and executes unit testing and supports new or modified software solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
(6 years total).
- Experience:
- 1 year with WebSphere support and Java development.
- IT operational experience with tools like Dynatrace, Splunk (must), and Bluetriangle or similar
monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year experience with:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) development.
- Amazon Kubernetes Services (AKS) support.
- Microsoft Azure development.
- Node.js, DevOps, Git, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, and Oracle support.
- Responsive UI (HTML5, CSS3) support.
- Splunk, Dynatrace, and BlueTriangle tools.
- Adobe Experience Manager support.
- Agile Methodology development.
- 2 years experience with:
- Engineering tools (bug tracking, source code control systems).
- Working in a large matrixed organization.
- ITIL framework.
- Writing technical documentation in software development.
- Web services development.
- Experience creating complex incident analysis and availability reports.
