INTRODUCTION
Concurrent field work practical learning assigned to MSW trainees of the
2022 – 2023 batch this field work is done based on the implementation of the
KREA project by MLA Najeeb Kanthapuram. Our field is implemented in
Aliparamb grama panchayath. There are 21 wards in Aliparamb grama
panchayath. The objectives were to enhance the practical knowledge of trainees
assigned wards in panchayath within a group of three and there were nine groups
to practice the professional skill in those activities.
ABOUT THE AGENCY

Murray Educational and charitable foundation Which works under the1860


Societies registration act perintalmanna MLA Najeeb kanthapuram is the
chairman of Mudra. At the central office of the agency which is establishing it’s
works throughout India expected for Jammu and Kashmir is at perinthalmanna in
the Malappuram district of Kerala state. The agency mainly focuses on the
upliftment of educational and informational standard of young generation and to
recognized people taste and aptitude and there to conduct programs and
educational fields accordingly. Apart from educational uplifting service mudra
also focus on helping the unemployed and PWD sector employment training for
poor and women awareness classes on various social distresses rights of students
etc.

MISSION

Develop an equitable and just society by eliminating barrier to quality education.


Empower individuals to achieve full human potential by providing learning
support appropriate for their situation. Transform perinthamanna into a
knowledge hub Kerala.

VISION

The best way to bridge the gap in income, human well-being equity and
opportunities is to ensure quality education. Use quality education and skill
development as a tool to empower individuals to make a living make better choice
and have more doors open in life.

OBJECTIVES OF THE AGENCY

• Establishment of innovative jobs through entrepreneurship promotions.


• Introduction of 100 women startup
• Continuing education endeavor for adult
• Establishment of at least 50 smart villages
• Establishment of zero hunger perinthalmanna
• Provide equality education with skill development initiatives.

DETAILS ABOUT VISITS AND INTERACTIONS

Mr. Sabir took a session about a brief about what KREA is and gave us a brief
about what KREA is and Aliparamb panchayath president Mr. Afsal gave us a
class about panchayath. Afsal gave us a class about panchayath. Moreover, Mr.
Sabir told us what all activities are to be done by trainees. Social work trainees
had an interactive session with Head Master of higher Secondary school
Anamangad and shared the activities and problems of the school. Social work
trainees also interacted with the students of 10 and 11 classes. social work trainees
went to Chethana pharmaceuticals, and had a session about the functions of the
pharmaceuticals taken by Mr. Vinod. social work trainees went to AUP School
Anamangad and had an interactive session with HM Mrs. Ritha, who talked about
the activities of the school. Social work trainees went to the village office and Mr.
Vinod introduced more about the village and its functions. Trainees visited
LOHASHILPI, which is a Rubber Machinery, Pharmaceutical Machinery, and
Packing Materials manufacturing industry. Mr. Shibeesh introduced us to
different types of missionaries in the factory work trainees had an interaction
session with ward members. Ward members introduced their self - Mr. Sabir gave
a workshop about PRA and FGD Sessions. In the twentieth ward
(Muzhannamana) govt. higher secondary school Aliparamb trainees conducted a
career guidance class for 9th and 10th std students.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN

● In interaction with Ward members.


Social work trainees had an interactive session with ward members. It’s helps
to gets more knowledge about Aliparamb panchayath. It’s helps make a healthy
relationship.

● Transect walk and visit government institutions.


Social work trainee had an interactive session with headmaster of higher
secondary school and shared the activities and problems of the school. Social
work training also interacted with the students of these school. After that social
work training went to Chethana pharmaceuticals, and had a session about the
functions of this institution.

● Documentation
Social work trainees did documentation what they did. And write
documentation that where the socio-economic survey, FGD, and PRA.

● Data Collection
The Trainee conducted survey for the project in about 30 houses in each their
wards and gathered basic information. Social work trainees conducted socio-
economic surveys sessions in the 7th 12th and 20th wards of Aliparamb panchayath.

• Conduct FGD and PRA


Social work trainee conducted FGD and PRA in wards seven, twelve, and
twenty to get the details about peoples of the wards. Its helps know more about
the life style of the people.

• Program conducted
In the twentieth ward (Muzhannamana) govt. higher secondary school
Aliparamb trainees conducted a career guidance class for 9th and 10th std students.

• Projects Implementation
Social work trainees’ different projects implemented in Aliparamb panchayat.
• Project Proposal writing
Tranees prepared for the project proposal for implementation through the
institutions.

OBSERVATION OF THE TRAINEE


● Aliparamb panchayat is a developing panchayath.
● Trainees observed that schools of Aliparamb panchayath has no enough
facilities
● Aliparamb panchayat people has water scarcity.
● Transportation facility Aliparamb panchayat is not good.
● Members of some ward members are not active.
● Aliparamb panchayat has lot of SC colony.

LEARNINGS OF THE TRAINEE


PERSONAL LEARNING
• Social work trainees learned to understand the development of the
Aliparamb panchayth.
• Social work trainees learned to make healthy relationship with the people.
• Trainees learned to communicate with unknown persons in the panchayath,
which help to make survey successfully.
• Trainees learned to make rapport with people.
• Trainees learned to make questionnaires for conduct FGD.
PROFESSIONAL LEARNING
• Social work trainees learned to understand the activities of panchayath.
• Social work trainees to conduct FGD and PRA.
• Social work trainees learned to make professional and healthy relationship.
• Trainees learned to make project proposal.
• Trainees learned about the importance of group discussion.
• Trainees get confidence in public speaking.
EVALUATION
SWOT ANALYSIS

Positives- The 21-day off-field social work training was a great opportunity for
the trainee to polish themselves in a professional manner and a great space to
recognize their strength and weaknesses.

Strength-Trainees could successfully participate and organize the activity of the


field. Trainee was able to build a rapport in the community. The field itself was a
great opportunity for the trainee to increase their professional social working
practical knowledge.

Weakness-Trainees gets physical weakness during field work.

Opportunities-Trainees gets to conduct programs on the basis of topic Education.


Social work trainees handled many public speaking opportunities and gave
classes on various programs.

CONCLUSION

21 days of field work completed successfully. Succeed to accomplish the


objectives and assigned work in the field on time and to get attention. Trainees
got more knowledge and information about each field work. The field itself was
a great opportunity for the trainee to increase their professional social working
practical knowledge.
