Part 1.

1 - Basic Questions

1. Tell me about your family.

"Well, I come from a fairly close-knit family. There's my mother, father, and my younger sister. We're very supportive of each other,

and we try to spend quality time together whenever possible. For instance, we often have family dinners, which is something I really

value. My family's a big part of my life, and I feel very lucky to have them."

2. What's your favourite kind of weather?

"Personally, I love mild, sunny days. Not too hot, just pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze. It really boosts my mood and makes me

want to be outside, maybe go for a walk or enjoy a picnic. I find that kind of weather refreshing and uplifting."

3. Do you like watching TV?

"Yes, I do enjoy watching TV, though I wouldn't say I watch it all the time. I mostly enjoy documentaries or travel shows because I

love learning about new places and cultures. Sometimes, I watch a bit of drama or a series, but I try not to overdo it."

Part 1.2 - Picture Discussion

1. What do you see in these pictures?

"In the first picture, there's a young man who seems deeply engrossed in a book. He's alone in what looks like a library or study room,

surrounded by books, which gives the feeling of solitude and concentration. In the second picture, there's a group of friends sitting

together on a couch, watching a movie. They're laughing, holding snacks, and seem to be enjoying each other's company. It gives a

warm, social atmosphere."

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of reading books compared to watching movies?

"Reading books has the advantage of stimulating the imagination because we create images of the story in our minds. It also helps

with language skills and can be more relaxing, as it's a slower, personal experience. However, it does require more time and focus.

Watching movies, on the other hand, is a faster way to enjoy a story and is more visually engaging. It's a great way to socialize too.

But, I'd say it doesn't develop language or creativity as much as reading does."

3. In what situations might reading a book be more enjoyable or beneficial than watching a movie?

"I think reading a book might be more enjoyable when I want to unwind quietly, like at the end of a long day. It's also beneficial when I

want to focus on learning new vocabulary or when I want a more immersive, detailed experience. Books allow me to take things at my

own pace, which can be more relaxing than a movie."

Part 2 - Talking about an Old Person

1. Tell me about an interesting old person.

"An interesting older person in my life is my grandmother. She has so many fascinating stories from her youth and has lived through a

lot of historical events, which makes her perspectives unique. I love listening to her stories about how life was simpler back then, and

she's incredibly wise. Her advice always seems to come from a place of experience, and I find her insights really valuable."

2. Do you think old people and young people can share interests?

"Yes, absolutely. Even though there's a generation gap, I believe people of all ages can connect over shared interests, like cooking,

music, or even movies. For instance, my grandmother and I both enjoy gardening, and we often exchange tips and ideas. It's a way of

bridging that age gap and finding common ground."

3. What can old people teach young people?

"I think older people have a lot to offer in terms of life lessons, such as patience, resilience, and the importance of family. They've

experienced ups and downs that young people haven't, and their advice can often save us from making similar mistakes. Additionally,

they can teach values that seem less common today, like respecting others and staying humble."

Part 3 - Discussion: Protecting Wild Animals

1. For Protecting Wild Animals

"I strongly believe that wild animals should be protected. Firstly, humans have a responsibility to care for all life on this planet; it's part

of being a responsible species. Secondly, losing certain species can disrupt entire ecosystems, which could have negative effects on

our environment and, ultimately, on us. Finally, studying animals often leads to discoveries in medicine and biology that benefit

everyone."

2. Against Protecting Wild Animals

"On the other hand, there are practical issues with protecting wild animals. It can be very costly and requires a lot of resources, like

law enforcement and conservation efforts. Some argue that this money could be better spent on pressing human needs, like

healthcare and education. Additionally, not all wild animals are safe, and some are actually dangerous to people and livestock."
