*Vocabulary:

-pet (noun): an animal that is kept in the home as a companion and treated kindly
(domestic)

E.g. “I want a cat as a pet”.

-To go for a walk (verb): a period of walking for exercise or pleasure.

E.g. “If you are in a bad mood, go for a walk.”

-take a walk (phrasal verb): a rude way of telling someone to go away.

E.g. «He told us to take a walk.”

-afraid (adjective): feeling fear or anxious (frightened).

E.g. “I want someone who is afraid of losing me.”

-be in trouble (verb): in difficulties.

E.g.” I was always getting in trouble for misbehaving at school. ”

-The woods (noun): an area with plants and trees.

-carry (verb): to take or support from one place to another; convey; transport.

E.g.” The British police do not carry guns."

-hurry (verb): If you hurry somewhere, you go there as quickly as you can.

E.g.” You will be in time if you hurry."

-smart (adjective): intelligent / clever / brilliant.

E.g.” Jenny is a very smart girl. She usually gets good marks”
