POLICE SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS REGARDING VARIOUS PROGRAMMES IN PESHAWAR
OBJECTIVES
1. To protect the Participants/Govt. property
2. To maintain Law and Order
3. To ensure smooth flow of traffic
METHOD To achieve the above objective, the following security arrangements are hereby made:-

ABABEEL SQUADS Concerned SDPOs/SHOs are directed to raise the Ababeel Squads from own circles and deploy on
important Chowks & Plugging Points.
NOTE: I In case any officer or official is on leave, then the next In-Charge or to whom he had handed over charge
will perform the duty.
NOTE- II The Officer Incharges shall strictly ensure wearing of protective Gears (Helmet & Jackets etc) during
the duty.
NOTE: III BDS, Sniffer Dog, Ladies Police & walk-through gate are placed on the disposal of divisional SsP.
NOTE: IV Concern SDPOs to raise the strength from own circle, if the required more strength.
NOTE: V Concern SDPOs to deploy U/Ss from their respective circles as per above mentioned programme.
NOTE: VI The Officers Incharge assisted by Concern SHOs shall deploy the strength in accordance with the
venues i.e main gate, inner/outer cordon, rooftop etc.
NOTE:VII I/C Command & Control assisted by Shift Incharge are directed to inform Personally Concern
officers/Police Stations regarding their Program and convey OK report about deployment to High-Ups
well in time.
EVACUATION PLAN In case of Emergency / Untoward incident etc. concern SDPOs are directed to make arrangements for
the safe evacuation of the participant safe place in Security Cordon according to the SOP. The place &
route shall only be determined by Divisional SsP already in the knowledge of Concern SDPOs.
SPECIAL BRANCH Addl: IG of Police Special Branch is requested to deploy his strength in plain clothes with the direction
to coordinate with the local Police as well as District Security Branch of Peshawar.
TRAFFIC Chief Traffic Officer Peshawar is requested for making necessary Traffic arrangements.
BDU AIG Bomb Disposal Unit shall depute his staff for sweeping the venues with the help of explosive
detectors from Security point of view.
CANINE UNIT Director Canine Unit shall depute his staff for sweeping the venues with the help of sniffer dogs from
security point of view.
ABABEEL SP Ababeel to be vigilant alongwith their staff in their area of responsibility.
ADMINISTRATION SP HQrs: Peshawar assisted by DSP HQrs Peshawar will make necessary administrative arrangements.
RESCUE 1122 District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Peshawar is requested to provide Ambulance vehicles of
Rescue 1122 with PERA Medical Staff to be present at the venues/routes.
MOBILE PATROLLIG Concerned Police Stations Mobiles alongwith City Patrol Mobiles and Ababeel Squads will Patrol and
remain alert.
