HOW TO APPLY

1. Candidates are advised to click on the adver sement hyperlink first and read it thoroughly.
2. Candidates must assure themselves that they are eligible as per age limits and educa onal
qualifica ons as men oned in the adver sement and go through appren ce act 1961, appren ce
rules 1992 and amendment and NAPS thereof.
3. Candidates are advised to keep so copies of their photo, signature and all relevant documents
as men oned in the adver sement before clicking on “New Registra on” bu on.
4. In case of any doubt / problem, candidates are advised to refer to “Frequently Asked Ques on
(FAQ)” sec on, given in the web page. Candidates can seek YIL’s help, by clicking on the ‘Contact Us’
hyperlink and entering the details of problem / doubts.

STEPS TO APPLY
1. Click on the “New Registra on” bu on on the home page. A web page with New Registra on
page will be displayed.
2. A er entering the mobile no and email id, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
and registered email id entered above. Please ensure that the mobile number and the e-mail ID
entered in the form are valid and correct.
A er filling all the details in the forms, click the “I Agree” check box for accep ng the Declara on
and the click on the Submit bu on. A form with the entered details will appear as shown below.

Candidate can opt to edit the details by clicking on the “Edit” bu on else click on “Confirm” bu on.
A er clicking on the confirm bu on, a Registra on ID with password will be displayed. Candidates
are advised to note the Registra on ID and password. Click on OK bu on to con nue.
A form for filling the postal address will be displayed. Candidates are advised to fill all the fields
including PIN Code. If the permanent address is also same, then candidate can click on the YES
radio bu on. If the permanent address is different, then click on the “No” radio bu on. A set of
new fields for entering the permanent address will be displayed. Fill the permanent address and
click on the Submit bu on.

A form as shown below will be displayed. Click on the RED icon below Apply/Edit to fill the iden ty
and other details.

The previously entered details will be displayed. If the candidate as Aadhaar Card, then click on the
radio bu on for “I have my Aadhaar Card”. If Aadhaar card is not issued, then one can enter the
Aadhaar Enrollment ID by clicking on the radio bu on “I have Aadhaar Enrolment ID”. In case the
candidate doesn’t possess any of the two, then candidate can “I do not have Aadhaar Card and I
had not enrolled for Aadhaar”. The candidate can select one of the iden ty card viz. Passport, Voter
ID, Driving Licence, Photo ID issued by school/Ins tu on, Bank Pass Book, from the drop down list
and enter the ID no.
A er entering the details the candidate can upload the latest passport sized photo of the candidate
with size 20Kb to 30 Kb in JGP/JPEG format. Click on the “Choose File” bu on to open the window
and select your photo to be uploaded. Click on the Upload bu on for uploading. A preview of your
photo will appear and a green check mark will appear against “Upload Status” column.
Similarly, upload your ink signed signature in JPG/JPEG format. The signature in blue ink shall be
done on paper with white background.
Please note the Green Tick under “Upload Status”, a er uploading the files.

Click on Save and Con nue bu on. A new form for entering your qualifica on details will be
displayed. Enter the name of the Matricula on (Class Xth)Board, Name of the educa onal ins tute,
year of passing matricula on, Matricula on marksheet number, and select on the matricula on
result type. If the Matricula on board has declared the marks out of 100 against each subject, then
one can select the Marks radio bu on. The candidate can enter the marks obtained in science and
maths, and maximum marks(Out of).
The system will automa cally calculate the percentage of marks obtained in each subject. The
candidate can enter the total marks obtained in all the subjects and maximum marks out of. The
system will automa cally calculate and display the total percentage. If the matricula on board has
considered best of five subjects to calculate the percentage, then the candidate can enter the marks
obtained and total marks(out of) accordingly
If the matricula on board has awarded CGPA, then the candidate can click on CGPA radio bu on to
enter the grades obtained in science, maths and total CGPA. The system will convert the same into
percentage by mul plying the entered grade with 9.5. If the percentage displayed is not according
to actual percentage obtained by the candidate, then candidate can click on Marks radio bu on and
enter the actual marks obtained by the candidate. The candidate has to prove the same at the me
of document verifica on with his/her original
documents.
In case the matricula on board awards the candidate with A+/A/B+/B/C+/C grades, then the
candidate has to enter the actual percentage obtained against maths and science each and total
percentage with selected grade.

As per minimum qualifica on criteria given in the adver sement, the candidate should have
minimum 40% marks in science and maths each. If marks are less than 40%, the web page will
display error and will not allow to proceed further. The total marks obtained in all subjects should
be minimum 50%. The web page will display error, if minimum criteria is not met.
In case the candidate has passed the ITI and wants to apply against Ex-ITI Trade vacancy, then he/
she have to fill the technical qualifica on details in the form shown below.
The total percentage will be calculated automa cally. The Average of Matricula on and ITI
percentage will also be calculated automa cally and displayed. As per the adver sement, the
minimum average percentage of marks obtained by the candidate should be 50%. The web page
will display error, if the average percentage is less than 50% and will not allow to proceed further.
Click on “Save and Con nue” bu on to select the Factory against which the candidate wishes to
apply. In case the candidate is matriculate and wants to apply against NON-ITI vacancy, then all the
factories with NON- ITI trade vacancies will be displayed in the drop down list.
For Ex-ITI candidates, the factories containing the vacancy against the trade of the candidate will
only get displayed in the dropdown list. EX-ITI candidates are requested to check availability of
vacancies against trades of their choice, in the factory they wish to apply. Please note that the EX-ITI
candidates should apply only as per TA act 1961 for relevance of trades and vacancies available in a
par cular factory in that trade. The ITI candidates are therefore, strictly advised to refer to
schedule-I of TA act 1961 to ensure the correctness of their eligibility in relevant trades only, which
shall solely be the responsibility of the candidate.
Select the desired factory and click on Save and Con nue bu on.
For Non-ITI trades, candidate has to enter the preference of the trade. Please note that a candidate
can apply to one factory only.
NOTE : In respect of hazardous trades, the candidates shall take cognizance of age limit condi on,
men oned in the long and short adver sements.

A er clicking on Save and Con nue bu on, the candidate can upload iden ty card, matricula on
cer ficate, Cast Cer ficate(For OBC(NCL), SC and ST), disability cer ficate (if applicable). All the
documents should be either in JPG or PDF format with size ranging from 100Kb to 200Kb. A er
uploading the cer ficates, the green ck will be displayed under “Upload Status” column
Candidate can click on Final Submit bu on. A message will be displayed as shown below. The
candidate can review his/her entered details by clicking on edit bu on.

If the candidate clicks on the Confirm bu on, then a preview of the final applica on form will
appear. The candidate and confirm the details and print the final applica on form for records. The
printout needs to be submi ed during document verifica on carried out by the factory applied.
Click on icon under Payment column to pay the applicable applica on.
A er submission of educa onal qualifica on data, candidates have to pay online applica on fee of
₹ Rs.
100+18%GST/ Rs.200+18% GST (non-refundable) using the payment gateway displayed on the new
web page.
The available payment modes are (i) Net banking {ii} Debit Card (iii) Credit Card (iv) Cash Cards
(v)UPI/BHIM (vi)
Wallets (vii) NEFT (viii) SBI Branch Payment.
A er successful payment, candidate can print the finally submi ed applica on form by clicking on
appropriate
icon as shown below under “Print Applica on”.
