Multimedia refers to content composed of
various elements such as animation, graphic
illustrations, images, music, text, and video that
delivers information using an electronic device.

The use of multimedia can be seen on


advertising, business, engineering, education,
entertainment, healthcare and public places.

There are various advantages of using multimedia
although there are some limitations that could bring
disadvantages to the users.

Web 2.0 allowed users to generate user content and


interact with other users. It also allowed them to create
multimedia by utilizing different kinds of interactive or
rich content through a cloud or web-based software.
