Introduction
“Courage is not the absence of fear but triumph over it” is a very
powerful and widely used statement that conveys the idea that true
courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the ability to face and
overcome it. This quote is often attributed to Nelson Mandela ,
The essence of this quote is that being courageous doesn't
mean you never feel fear; rather, it means that you confront your fears
and continue to act in spite of them. Courage is the strength to
persevere and make the right choices, even when you are afraid. It's a
valuable reminder that fear is a natural human emotion, and it is our
response to fear that defines our courage and determination.

Origin Of The Quotes
The quote "Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment
that something else is more important than fear" is attributed to Nelson
Mandela. This quote is often associated with the former President of
South Africa and anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson Mandela, who was a
key figure in the struggle against apartheid and later became a global
symbol of resistance to oppression and injustice. However, it's important
to note that the exact wording and phrasing of quotes can sometimes vary
in different sources, so you may find slightly different versions of this
quote

strategies. Fear can manifest in various forms, Including fear of the
unknown, fear of rejection .Here are some steps to help you overcome the
fear:
Identify the Fear: The first step in overcoming fear is to identify and
define it clearly. What exactly are you afraid of? Understanding the root
cause of your fear is crucial.
Understand the Fear: Try to understand where the fear comes from
and whether it is rational or irrational. Sometime fear is based on

opportunity. Break down big goals into smaller, and achievable steps.
Be kind to yourself and avoid harsh self-criticism

QUESTIOANNAIRE
We had asked our classmate to answer some questions based on
courage and fear and here are their responses
What we have reflected is that ,courage and fear are often viewed as contrasting
forces, but they exist in a delicate balance. Fear is an human reaction, serving as
REFLECTION
a warning signal and aiding us in overcoming obstacles. It can provide security,
but it can also become an obstacle when we need to take action. Courage,
however, is not the absence of fear but rather the readiness to confront it. It's
about recognizing our fears and making the conscious decision to proceed
despite them. Acts of bravery can range from small, like voicing your opinion in a
meeting, to significant. Embarking on the journey of confronting our fears can
result in significant personal development and the understanding that courage is
a skill that can be cultivated and with practice. This project has given us a good
opportunity to apply my academic knowledge to understand and reflect on issues
that is faced by people surrounded around us , It was a pleasure to work with my
group members(team) .
