Product information
Addocat PP accelerates the drying and curing of 2-component
polyurethane coatings based on aliphatic diisocyanates such as
e.g. Desmodur N-types or Desmodur Z 4470 and polyols of the
Desmophen series.

The addition of Addocat PP reduces the potlife of the finish.

To give greater convenience and accuracy of dosage, Addocat PP
should be used as a 10 % solution in solvents such as butyl acetate,
ethyl acetate, methylisobutylketone, methylethylketone or xylene.
The added quantity of Addocat PP is approx. 0.02 to 0.50 % calculated
on the total amount of Desmodur/Desmophen.
The optimum dosage should be determined by trials.

Storage stability
When stored under dry conditions in firmly closed containers at temperatures between 15 and 25 °C, the shelf
life of Addocat PP is 12 months. After a longer period of storage, especially at temperatures above 30 °C, the
product may slightly discolour, even at storage in closed containers. However, this does not impair the catalytic
effect.

Handling
Consult material safety data sheet (MSDS) for additional handling
information for Addocat PP.
