Part 1 Overview

Chapter 1 Safety instruction


In safe production, there are some security matters need to pay attention . According to
the security level from low to high, these items can be categorized into Attention, Warning
and Prohibition .Details as follows.

1、Attention
1.This machine used by the power of the power supply that limited to nameplate indicating
type. When the actual power more than plus or minus 10% , Machine should be equipped with
corresponding power regulator

2.The wire of power supply should be well fixed and necessary safety protection in strict
accordance with Power Industry Standard .The wire can not bear the force.

3.To ensure the machine`s working air pressure shall not be less than 6kg/cm², or else will
cause the valve abnormal operation.

4.The equipment must grounding . If there is no ground wire may cause the operator to get an
electric shock , and at the same time also can effect the normal running of the machine.

5.Repairing and debugging the electrical components ,please try to contact the professional
engineer, unprofessional operation will affect the performance of the equipment as well as the
failure rate .

6.In the process of using this equipment , please do not open the power control cabinet .
Because of some components with high voltage,threat personal safety .

7.Check the fuse of equipment periodically , and in accordance with the machine
specifications to replace the damaged fuse .

8.When the U-Disk read and write data , please don`t pull out the U-Disk . Or else will
damage and lost the data .

9.This equipment should work in a dry and ventilated environment , please regularly cleaning
the dust on the surface of the equipment .

10.Users should be in strict accordance with the instructions of the this manual . If there is
any inaccuracy , please contact our technical services in time .

2、Warning
1.When do the daily maintenance and debugging that need to open the control box , please
make sure the power disconnect in advance at least one minute before operation.

2.Please don`t use the component that is not our company provided, or else all the damage
should be borne by the customer.

3、Prohibition
1.When the normal operation of the machine, please don`t touch any running parts .

2.If machine`s protecting cover is defective or damaged . It is banned to use until repair or
replace it .

3.It is prohibit when machine works in the following conditions , Moisture ,Dust ,Corrosive
gas, Flammable and explosive gas .

4.It is forbidden to directly input and output circuit of controller insulation test , or else will
cause damage of electrical components.

Part 2 Panel operation instruction

The panel as shown in figure 2.1.

 F1-F8:Function keys.
 0-9:Number keys.
 Enter:Enter key.
 Esc:Cancel and exit key.
 WORK PROG:Work and Program switch.
 Off(Light off): Programming interface. In this interface, you can modify the
parameters and test the hardware.
 On(Light on): Knitting interface. In this interface, the machine can weave products.
 JOG:Jog switch. Effective in knitting interface.
 RUN:Run switch. Effective in knitting interface.
 STOP:Stop switch. Effective in knitting interface.
 Emergency stop:In emergency, the emergency stop switch on the left side of the
machine can force to stop the machine.

Part 3 Programming interface


When the "PROG WORK" switch is off (Light off), enter the programming interface. In this
interface, you can modify the parameters and test the hardware.
Main menu includes “Sys Setup”, “Test”, “File Manage”, “Chain Edit” and “Language”.
The main menu as shown in figure 3.1.

Chapter 1 System setup


Before setting, users need to enter the password. The password is “5166”. As shown in
figure 3.2.

1、Machine parameter
Enter the ‘sys setup” interface, display the machine parameters interface. As shown in figure
3.3.

Key description:
 0-9:Number keys. Please press the “Enter” to complete the input.
 Esc:Enter the error or want to cancel the input, press the key to cancel the operation.
 Enter:When the input is completed , press the key to confirm.

Parameter description:
1.1 Mac Needle:Number of needles for the machine.
1.2 Oil Time:Set the pump oil time,when oil pump auto oiling .
1.3 Oil Interval:How many products, the pump will work.
1.4 Overlap:Number of needles in the main yarn at the same time.
1.5 PAT Move<L>:In the knitting process, the number of needles that move to left.
1.6 PAT Move<R>:In the knitting process, the number of needles that move to right.
1.7 Blower Time:Effective when the blower is set “automatic”.When the machine is stop,
how much time the blower is stop work.
1.8 Density<1>:Invalid.
1.9 Density<2>:Invalid.
1.10 Max Speed:Maximum speed of the machine.

2、Actuator angle
In general, "Actuator01" is 0 degrees. Other parameters are set according to the actual
angle .The effective value is 0-360. As shown in figure 3.4

Key description:
 0-9:Number keys. Please press the “Enter” to complete the input.
 Esc:Enter the error or want to cancel the input, press the key to cancel the operation.
 Enter:When the input is completed , press the key to confirm.

Note:
 This parameter must be strictly in accordance with the data,that provided by the
manufacturers. Otherwise, the machine jacquard pattern will be error and may be
damage the jacquard needle.

Chapter 2 Hardware test


The purpose of testing hardware is to check whether the state of important hardware and
settings of related parameters can meet the requirement . And according to the actual production
requirement to edit and change the parameters , so as to ensure the production to be accurate . It
includes “Actuator”, “Air Valve”, “Alarm Test”, “Step Motor” and “Servo Motor”. As
shown in figure 3.5.

1、Actuator test
Enter the testing interface of actuator, following the step “Main menu → Test→ Actuator ” .
As shown in figure 3.6.

Option description:
 F1 Loop:After select the loop testing mode,control system would test the actuator
automatically.
 F2 1×1:After select the one by one testing mode, control system would test the
actuator one by one. Press the "Enter" key to switch the state of the blade.
 F3 In/Out:After select all up or down testing mode, control system would test the
actuator all up or down. Press the "Enter" key to switch the state of the blade.

2、Air valve test


Enter the air valve testing interface, following the step “Main menu→Test→Air Valve” .
As shown in figure 3.7.
The valve testing interface shown in figure 3.7.Users can test the valve under different mode
according to the actual requirement.
When the circle in the shine state , that is the valve’s “inside” state . Now the valve`s
indicator light on , then system supply air .When the circle in the dark state , that is the valve’s
“outside” state . Now the valve`s indicator light off , the valve no working .

Option description:
 F1 Loop:At this time can test the valve’s continuous mode . All the valves are changed
continuously and one after another “In” and “Out”.
 F2 Single:After select the single valve testing mode, control system would test the
valve under turnover testing mode. Press the "Enter" key to switch the state of the valve.
 F3 Auto:After select the automatic testing mode,control system would test the air valve
automatically.

3、Alarm test
Following the step “Main menu→Test→Alarm Test” to enter the alarm test interface . As
shown in figure 3.8 .
When a certain part is malfunction . The corresponding light will be lit at the same time.

4、Step motor test


Following the step “Main menu→Test→Step Motor”, users can enter the step motor testing
interface .As shown in figure 3.9 .Users can directly select different step motor to test.

 Scissors Motor:When the motor is tested, the motor will rotate in a fixed direction.
 Density Motor:When the motor is tested, the motor will rotate forward and reverse.
Attention:
When the density motor is tested, the zero signal of the corresponding motor is input,
that is, the indicator lamp of the zero position signal probe has been lit. System to determine
the motor is always on the 0 degree. So the test output is always wrong. Motor test will be
error. Please check:
 Whether the motor is stuck.
 Whether the zero signal is normal.

5、Servo motor test


Following the step “Main menu→Test→Servo Motor”, enter the servo motor test interface .
As shown in figure 3.10 . The interface will show the current number of needle and the number of
needle that are received by each cycle.

Chapter 3 File manage


File management is mainly used for USB File and RAW File management .Including file
transfer between USB and RAM , edit , delete ,rename and other related operation .This system
use USB to input and output data . As shown in figure 3.11. It includes “Machine Flie”,
“Density File”, “Chain File” and “Pattern File”.

1、Machine file
Following the step “Main Menu→File Manage→Mac File” to enter the machine file
management interface . As shown in figure 3.12 .
Machine file’s suffix for "MTR" . According to the actual parameters of the machine, each
machine can only have one machine file. As shown in figure 3.12. Machine file list on the left.
The right for the U disk file list.
Insert U disk and U disk system with the corresponding file, U disk file list will be effective.

Option description:
 PU PgUp:When the U disk file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to
page up the U disk file list.
 PD PgDn:When the U disk file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to
page down the U disk file list.
 F1 Export:Export machine files to U disk.
When the file is exported, the interface will go to the rename operation menu. File
names must be numbers and letters.
 F2 Import:When there is a machine file in the U disk, you can select the file import the
machine memory.
 F3 Delete:You can only delete the RAM file of the machine.
 F4 Select:In the case of the machine that can store multiple files, select the file you
need.
In machine file operation, only one file can be stored. So this button is not valid.

2、Density File
Following the step “Main Menu→File Manage→Den File” to enter the density file
management interface . As shown in figure 3.13 .
Density file’s suffix for "MAG" . According to the actual parameters of the machine, each
machine can only have one density file. As shown in figure 3.13. Density file list on the left. The
right for the U disk file list.
Insert U disk and U disk system with the corresponding file, U disk file list will be effective.

Option description:
 PU PgUp:When the U disk file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to
page up the U disk file list.
 PD PgDn:When the U disk file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to
page down the U disk file list.
 F1 Export:Export machine files to U disk.
When the file is exported, the interface will go to the rename operation menu. File
names must be numbers and letters.
 F2 Import:When there is a density file in the U disk, you can select the file import the
machine memory.
 F3 Delete:You can only delete the RAM file of the machine.

3、Chain file
Following the step “Main Menu→File Manage→Chain File” to enter the chain file
management interface . As shown in figure 3.14 .
Chain file’s suffix for "CAT" . As shown in figure 3.14.Chain file list on the left. The right
for the U disk file list.
Insert U disk and U disk system with the corresponding file, U disk file list will be effective.

Option description:
 PU PgUp:When the file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to page up
the file list.
 PD PgDn:When the file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to page
down the file list.
 F1 Export:Export machine files to U disk.
When the file is exported, the interface will go to the rename operation menu. File
names must be numbers and letters.
 F2 Import:When there is a chain file in the U disk, you can select the file import the
machine memory.
 F3 Delete:You can only delete the RAM file of the machine.
When the machine memory file is full, you need to enter a new file, you must delete
the original file before you can import a new file
 F4 Select:In the case of the machine that can store multiple files, select the file you
need.

4、Pattern file
Following the step “Main Menu→File Manage→Pat File” to enter the pattern file
management interface . As shown in figure 3.15 .
Chain file’s suffix for "MOF" . As shown in figure 3.15.Pattern file list on the left. The right
for the U disk file list.
Insert U disk and U disk system with the corresponding file, U disk file list will be effective.

Option description:
 PU PgUp:When the file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to page up
the file list.
 PD PgDn:When the file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to page
down the file list.
 F1 Export:Export machine files to U disk.
When the file is exported, the interface will go to the rename operation menu. File
names must be numbers and letters.
 F2 Import:When there is a pattern file in the U disk, you can select the file import the
machine memory.
 F3 Delete:You can only delete the RAM file of the machine.
When the machine memory file is full, you need to enter a new file, you must
delete the original file before you can import a new file
 F4 Select:In the case of the machine that can store multiple files, select the file you
need.

Chapter 4 Chain edit


Chain edit is to modify the important parameters, such as "step name", "step circle",
"machine speed", "air valve action", "scissors motor speed" and "density motor density" and so on.
Following the step “Main Menu→Chain Edit” to enter the chain edit interface .

1、Select file to edit


Following the step “Main Menu→Chain Edit” to enter the chain edit interface .
After entering the interface, you can modify the chain file within the machine. As shown in
figure 3.16.

Option description:
 PU PgUp:When the file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to page up
the file list.
 PD PgDn:When the file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to page
down the file list.
 EN Edit:Enter the editing interface for the selected file.
 F1 Add:Add a new chain file.

2、Edit circle and speed


Following the step “Main Menu→Chain Edit” to enter the chain edit interface . Select the
files you need to edit, and then press the “Enter” key to enter the interface. As shown in figure
3.17.

Option description:
 PU PgUp:When the file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to page up
the file list.
 PD PgDn:When the file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to page
down the file list.
 EN Action Edit:Enter the action edit interface.
 0-9:Number keys. Please press the “Enter” to complete the input.
 Esc:Enter the error or want to cancel the input, press the key to cancel the operation.
 Enter:When the input is completed , press the key to confirm.

Step name parameter description:


 0——Single jacquard
 1——Single plain
 2——Double jacquard
 3——Double plain
 4——Start
 5——Make up
 6——Ribbings
 7——End
 8——Link up
 9——Clear display
Machine speed is set to 0, the same as the last step speed.Shown as “***” .

3、Action edit
Following the step “Main Menu→Chain Edit” to enter the chain edit interface . Select the
files you need to edit, and then press the “Enter” key to enter the interface. Then select the step
you need to edit, press the “Enter” key to enter action edit interface. As shown in figure 3.18.

Option description:
 PU PgUp:When the file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to page up
the file list.
 PD PgDn:When the file list exceeds the display interface, press this button to page
down the file list.
 F7 Add:Add the code, prompted "Are you sure to add ?". Press the "Enter" key on the
keyboard to add, "Esc" key to cancel.
 F8 Delet:Delete the code, prompted "Are you sure to delete ?". Press the "Enter" key on
the keyboard to delete, "Esc" key to cancel.
 0-9:Number keys. Please press the “Enter” to complete the input.
 Esc:Enter the error or want to cancel the input, press the key to cancel the operation.
 Enter:When the input is completed , press the key to confirm.

Chapter 5 System language and time


Change system language and time. In the main menu, click on the "language" and "time"
options to change. As shown in figure 3.19.

Part 4 Knitting interface


When the "PROG WORK" switch is on (Light on), enter the knitting interface.
Under this interface, users can do operations about Force reset , Idle running , Single stop ,
Hand oil , Feeder down or up ,Slow speed ,Output Setup, Density setup and Blower control . As
shown in figure 4.1.

Chapter 1 Interface information


At the knitting interface, the information of the machine works in real time.

Knitting information:

 Chain position:Current knitting step.

 Step circle:The number of remaining circles in the current knitting step.

 Needle:The current needle of the knitting pattern.

 Knit circle:The current circle of the knitting pattern.

 Output:The number of products produced by the machine.

 Target output:Target production quantity. When the quantity is full, the machine will be
stop automatically.

 Speed:When the machine is running, the speed of the machine.

 Speed set:Set the speed of the current step.

 Density1:Density value of the main yarn.

 Density2:Density value of the auxiliary yarn.

 Scissor speed:The scissor speed in current position.

 Blower control:Working mode of the blower.

File information:

 Chain name:File name of the selected chain file .

 Pattern name:File name of the selected pattern file.

 Needle:The needle of the pattern.

 Circle:The circle of the pattern.

Knitting time:

 Production of each product, the time spent on the machine.

Chapter 2 Function key description


When the "PROG WORK" switch is on (Light on), enter the knitting interface. Under the
knitting interface , there are 9 touching button corresponding to 9 different functions . As shown in
figure 4.2 .

1、F1 Force reset


In the production of knitting, the machine needs to return to the initial state. It must be
"forced reset". The machine will be reset to the initial location of all hardware. Operations are as
follows:
A)Press "F1", control system will prompt "Enforce reset?
B)“YES” system will be reset .
C)“NO” cancel the current operation .
Note:
When the machine is stopped, the function key is valid.
When the machine is in its initial position, the function key is invalid.

2、F2 Idle running


By this function, the machine is in idle state. Operations are as follows:
A)Press "F2", control system will prompt "Idle running?
B)“YES” system will be idle state.
C)“NO” cancel the current operation .

Note:
When the machine is stopped, the function key is valid.

3、F3 Single stop


By this function, when a product is finished, the machine will be stop. Operations are as
follows:
A)Press "F3",you can directly switch status.

Note:
When the machine is stopped, the function key is valid.

4、F4 Hand oil


By this function, add oil to the machine. Operations are as follows:
A) Press "F4", add oil to the machine

5、F5 Feeder down or up


By this function, the machine can control the jacquard yarn down or up. Operations are as
follows
A)Press "F5",you can directly switch status.

Note:
When the machine is stopped, the function key is valid.

6、F6 Slow speed


By this function, let the machine knitting in the default slow speed. Operations are as follows:
A)Press "F6",you can directly switch status.

Note:

7、F7 Output setup


By this function, the machine will be stop when the machine woven products reach the target
output. Operations are as follows:
A) Press "F7", enter the output setup interface. As shown in figure 4.3.
B) After enter the interface, according to the actual situation, you can modify the parameters
of “output” and “target output”. When the "target output" is set to "9999", indate the machine
need to keep producing .
C) After finish setting ,press “Exit’key , back to knitting interface .

8、F8 Density setup


By this function, you can modify the parameters of the density and the scissors. Operations
are as follows:
A) Press "F8", enter the density setup interface. As shown in figure 4.4.
B) Select the parameters that need to be modified to modify.
C) After finish setting ,press “Exit’key , back to knitting interface .

By this function, you can set blower working mode. Operations are as follows:
A) Press “▲”,there are three modes of blower.
 On:Blower is turned on.
 Off:Blower is turned off.
 Automatic:When the machine is running, the blower is turned on.

Chapter 3 Error message description


When the machine is in trouble, the system will prompt the corresponding fault information.
After troubleshooting, press "STOP" to clear the error message.
 Air pressure error:Air pressure is less than normal working pressure!
 Oil error:Oil pump lack of oil!
 Pick up:Failure of the pick up!
 Holder error:Failure of the holder!
 Tension error:Failure of the tension!
 Jacquard needle error<Up>:There are a fault in the upper segment of the jacquard
needle!
 Jacquard needle error<Dn>:there are a fault in the lower part of the jacquard needle!
 Scissors error:The installation position of the scissors or scissors is not correct!
 Knit needle:Broken needle!
 Needle latch:Needle latch is bad!
 Actuator board:The fuse on the actuator board is broken !
 Air valve board:The fuse on the air valve board is broken !
 Step motor board:The fuse on the stepper motor board is broken !
 Servo error:The servo motor has no power or fault!
 Emergency:Emergency stop button is pressed!

The editing software tools used in this system are basically consistent with the commonly
used graphic processing software. Some of them are described as follows:
