CERTIFICATION MARKS
NQA registered clients are authorized and encouraged to use the NQA
certification marks to promote their achievement. Organizations can only use
the logo in reference to the provision of goods and services contained within
their scope of certification.
The marks can be used widely, but please note that there are regulations to their use,
specifically to the marks which carry the accreditation (i.e. UKAS, ANAB & NABCB) logo.
This leaflet will show how and where the marks can be used.

USING PAS 2060 VERIFICATION MARKS
Claims and promotion of carbon neutrality should be clear and specific as to what is
carbon neutral (for example, the company, service or product).
PAS 2060 logos are not permitted to be placed on product or packaging (unless product
verified).
NQA will verify your previous years’ GHG footprint, carbon offset and future carbon
reduction plan. When NQA issue the initial verification statement you can make your
0015
carbon neutral claims and use the relevant NQA verified carbon neutral logo for 12
months. This is predicated on your carbon reduction plan being robust and achievable.
You must not use the logos once this time period has ended and if you have not re-
verified.
Prior to 12 months, to continue your claim and logo use, NQA will need to re-verify your
carbon footprint for the previous year and audit how your carbon reduction has been
implemented.
