As part of the celebration of National World Teachers Day, the Center for Student Leadership
and
Development in coordination with the Gender and Development will be holding an activh!, to appreciate
the hard urork of our modern heroes.
Euery Year, * theme guides the celehrations, and Wodd Teachers' Day Zt?.4is no exceptiofi. ThE focus
of
this year is on "Empowerlng Educators: Strengthening Resllience, Euilding Sustainability.,, ln these
challenging firnes, teachers trave emerged as beacons of resilience, adapting and innovating for
their
students.
As such, the undersigned would like to give. a special treat to hoth our teaching and teaching-support
personnelon October 3' ,2Q24, at the University Gymnasium from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This activity will

This activities will be conducted in person at the university gymnasium and alred live via university's

PAGEANT GUIDELINES
1. This will be a face-to-face and simultaneously aired via facebook live.
2. Candidates should be a bonafide teaching and non-teaching personnel of Urdaneta C6y
University.
3. Candidates should be endorsed by the college dean or head of office and have the
consent to compete in the pageant.
4- Candidates are restricted to involving themselves in any political platforms or
movemerfis.
5. Candidate$ are obliged to attend pageant rehearsals in accordance with the schedule of
the pageant activities set by the committee in charge.
6. Any concems regarding the pageant should be directly addressed to fire Cornmittee.
7. Candidaies are not allowed to bring eompanions during the pageant rehearsals and are
also not allowed to stay away from the premises of the pageant activities.
8. Candidates are not allowed to communicate with any potential guest of honor or
speakers, especially the judges.
9. The organizing committee reserves the right to call the candidates' attention to any
inappropriate behaviour that could disrupt the event.
10. The pageant committee will train and work with the contestants for days before the
pageant day.
11. The college MUSI provide a glam team for their respective candidates.
12. On the day of the pageant proper, candidates will be assessed based on their
performance in their production number, faculty uniform, casualwear, and format wear.
13. There will only be top 6 finalists (6male and 6female) who will advance to the
Qu estion-and-Answer po rtion.
14. From the top 6 finalists, shall come the Mr, and Miss World TD 2023, Mr. and Miss
World TD First Runner-up and Mr. and Misa Warld TD $econd Runner-up.
15. Judges are superior on the ranking and it is final and irrevocable.
JUDGES:
. Judges will be confidentially and privately vetted and selected by the Committee.
. The judges ere not penn'ifted to converse or discuss thetr resutts rirdth those of their
colleagues' judges while on duty or off duty.
. On the day of the contest, the Pageant Review Committee briefed the judges on the
general guidelines, iudging criteria, and scoring method.
. The judges shall not be related to or have connection with any of the contestants.
. To honour the judges' effort that rendered their time expertise to grace the occasion, we
are humbly requesting an honorarium worth of 2,000 pesos to each judge.
. They will also reeeive certificates as recognition to their efforts.
