2024-Division Innovation Showdown

Mhel: Sa tunga sang nagaragas-ras nga hangin kag uran!!!


Padayun ang pag sambuwa sang may mga kina-adman!!!
Sa ngalan sang Division Innovation Showdown !!!
Sa katayu-an nga ang mekanismo sang bilug departamento pasingkarun
kag amligan !!!

Mhel: Ladies and Gentlemen, let us groove, stretch our muscles, and do a
bit of dancing as we join and witness the exemplary and outstanding
performance of Fort San Pedro National High School. “

Mhel: Indeed, the Schools Division of Iloilo City is a powerhouse of


talents, matuod-tuod nga Home of the Champions!

Mhel: According to Steven Jeffes “Innovation is the unrelenting drive to


break the status quo and develop anew where few have dared to go.“

Mhel: Ladies and gentlemen, let us give our warm and cordial salutation
for the entrance of the groundbreakers and trailblazers – our Innovators,
esteemed and distinguished Judges, and our ever-supportive and
benevolent Guests.

Mhel: I am inviting everyone to please stand for the singing of the


Philippine National Anthem, which will be followed by an opening prayer
and the singing of Iloilo City Hymn through an audio-visual presentation.

Mhel: Please be seated.

Mhel: Warren Bennis states and I quote “Innovation- any new idea- by
definition will not be accepted at first. It takes repeated attempts, endless
demonstrations, and monotonous rehearsals before innovation can be
accepted and internalized by an organization. This requires courageous
patience.”

Mhel: Once again, Ladies and Gentlemen-Welcome to the 2024-Division


Innovation Showdown.

Mhel: At this juncture, let us give a hand to our ever-proactive- and


dynamic –Assistant Schools Division Superintendent CESO VI -Dr.
Ruby Therese Palmaera Almencion for her WELCOMING MESSAGE.

Mhel: Indeed, today signifies the deciding event and the moment of truth
that will measure the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our
Innovators that will bring wisdom and resilience to their individual and
collective endeavors.

Mhel: At this point, may I call in our ever-efficient- proficient- resilient-


intelligent-inspiring, and results-driven Schools Division
Superintendent, CESO V- Dr. Ma. Luz M. Delos Reyes, CESO V for
her words of Inspiration.
Mhel: Thank you, Ma’am Luz for relentlessly and unwaveringly supporting
the causes and dreams of our scholars to impact change and bring honor
and glory to our beloved academe and our apprentice of love, wisdom,
knowledge, and change- our LEARNERS.

Mhel: As much as our judges would undertake the difficult task of


deliberating who will take the title for this 2024 Division Innovation
Showdown, they will be guided by a set of criteria and mechanics that our
committee believes the winning team should embody. With that, help me
welcome our ever brilliant-adept- the maestro who expertise in the field of
innovation-our Senior Education Program Supervisor -Sir Franklie G.
Esportuno for the reading of Guidelines and Criteria for Judging.

Mhel: Thank you, Sir Franklie…this is indeed a tough and rigid battle of
the wits and a lifelong commitment.

Mhel: At this juncture, may I call in our ever-indefatigable, zealous, and


assiduous Senior Education Program Specialist- Dr. Raisen A. Lumabit
for the Introduction of the Board of Judges.

Mhel: Truly, this is an innovation showdown worth remembering, for we


have all the outstanding, exceptional, and remarkable set of judges. The
innovators will surely pass through the eye of a needle.

Mhel: Certainly, “Innovation is like looking for pieces in a jigsaw puzzle.


You have to find a lot of pieces that don't match to find the one or two
pieces that match.”

Mhel: And now, the moment that we are eagerly waiting for the
presentation of the Official Entry of the 2024-Division Innovation
Showdown from the following categories:

A. TEACHING CLASSIFICATION
B. TEACHING RELATED
C. FARM SCHOOL IMPLEMENTER
D. MOST SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION —Let the 2024-Division Innovation
Showdown begin with the:
Mhel: There you have it ladies and gentlemen, we have witnessed,
examined, scrutinized and validated the break of tradition and a shift of
emphasis to classroom instruction, restyling, and transformation of the
innovations presented by our mavericks of change, visionaries, risk-takers
--innovators.

Mhel: Innovation is one of those words we like to throw around whenever


possible. To innovate means to make changes or do something a new
way. To innovate does not require you to invent. Baked into innovation
are creativity and adaptability.

Innovation in education isn’t a specific term with fixed definitions. The


spirit of innovation education is an openness to looking with fresh eyes at
problems and to address them in different, new ways. It is a recognition
that we don’t have all the answers and are open to new approaches to
improve such as methods of knowledge transfer with innovative teaching
strategies.

Mhel: At this point, may I request our

to be followed by the giving of Certificates of Participation to our
Innovators to be given to their respective School Heads.

Mhel: Charles Darwin never said, “It is not the strongest of the species
that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is
most adaptable to change.” Regardless, let’s consider that for a moment.

Mhel: At this moment, let us welcome our ever-charismatic, forward-thinking, hardworking


strategic, and upstanding Chief Education Supervisor - Schools Governance and Operations Division
-Dr. Jerry M. Lego for his closing remarks.

Mhel: This marks the beginning of our endless pursuit of knowledge and continuous innovation and
promotes critical thinking, a sense of adventure, and an openness to adapt that will serve our
learners in the classroom, for it will provide them with the necessary tools to tackle the challenges of
their future workplace and give them the confidence and skills to continue and to adapt. I AM MR.
